amazarashi Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
The lyrics of amazarashi's song "Tsuki ga Kirei" delve deep into themes of communication, relationships, struggles, and the beauty found amidst life's challenges. The opening lines explore the significance of words in bridging the gap between two individuals, highlighting how language plays a pivotal role in connecting people. The act of lying on the ground, counting stars, and contemplating thoughts signifies a moment of introspection and realization that sometimes words themselves are just that – words, and not always enough to convey deeper emotions.
The song continues to paint a picture of human struggles and vulnerabilities, comparing our lives to being adrift in the chaotic expanse of the universe. The weight of tears falling to the ground symbolizes the heaviness of emotions in life's journey, with both joy and pain depicted as celestial bodies orbiting a planet. The desire to resist gravity's pull reflects the innate human instinct to fight against the forces that confine us, seeking liberation and transcendence beyond our earthly constraints.
As the lyrics progress, the singer reflects on measuring time with words and the need to discard past grievances for the sake of forging new connections. The mention of pride and the importance of embracing imperfections in relationships showcase a message of humility and understanding amidst life's complexities. The imagery of stumbling on the journey back home and feeling lost underscores the struggles we face in navigating our paths, even when the vast sky above offers clarity and direction.
The song culminates in a powerful reflection on the human experience, portraying the balance between pain and beauty in life's tumultuous journey. The metaphor of witnessing the world from the ground due to our inability to fly captures a poignant truth – that our limitations often reveal unique perspectives and moments of profound beauty. The repeated assertion to resist gravity serves as a call to defy the obstacles that bind us and push towards self-discovery and growth, even if the destination is unknown. The final scene of lying on the national highway, gazing at the beautiful moon, encapsulates a poignant moment of solace and reflection amidst life's uncertainties and complexities.
