San Francisco
car Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I came by through your city
I came back for some pity
Leave it to me
Leave it to me

You were always my savior
I'm sorry I was ungrateful
To you
To you

We don't got much time
But you were my whole life
And I apologize
For the way, I left you
But we see it now
That you belong to someone else
I hope that it will all work out
She gives you love you'd never doubt

Leave a place for me at your wedding by your father
One last chance to see your mother smile
I hope you can forgive me one of these days
And I'd drive two days back home to see your face

I just wanted to hold you
I just wanted to show you
How I have grown
Before I let go

You were the tracks to my treasure
Took pride in all my endeavors
A generous soul
I was lucky to know

We don't got much time
But you were my whole life
And I apologize for the way I left you
But we see it now
That you belong to someone else
I hope that it will all work out
She gives you love you'd never doubt
Like you gave me

Leave a place for me at your wedding by your father
One last chance to see your mother smile
I hope you can forgive me one of these days
And I'd drive two days back home to see your face

But I always look back and smile
I read to you as you drove miles
Replaced the pages of my bible
All your words you were my guide
And I was perfect in your eyes
So please let me apologize

Leave a place for me at your wedding by your father
One last chance to see your mother smile

I hope you can forgive me one of these days
And I'd drive two days back home to see your face

Hate to say this, but as a driving instructor in San Francisco - I truly believe that not everyone should be driving on these roads... Everyday while working, I see drivers behaving badly. Not sure if the driver had a medical condition behind the wheel but what a devastating tragedy. Just hope it's not a reckless driver, who claimed it was a medical condition to get out of the trouble their about to face.

@SethiozProject

yeah "medical" condition called "phone scrub". i'm sure that driver was scrubbing away on phone and wasn't looking at road.
i'm so fed up with phone scrubs who can't go 5 seconds without scrubbing on their primitive phones .. they're worse than drunk drivers.

I hope you will teach all of your students that scrubbing on phone is more dangerous than driving drunk.

My condolences

So sad. RIP!

I use that stop everyday for work….lucky it wasn’t a weekday. Kids use that stop to get to school every morning so dangerous cars just blow the stop sign to make that left turn and kids are still crossing the street
