The band is named after the form that non-residents have to fill out to get into and out of the United States. The English American band is made up of 4 members, 3 from England and one from L.A.
Before they were signed their music was popular in television shows like Laguna Beach, Smallville, and Six Feet Under. You can hear their music on the Laguna Beach Soundtrack as well as their first official record which was debuted in 2005.

In "One Thing," i-94 talks about a love that has taken him to the edge and left him feeling shattered and broken. The song opens with the line, "Take the wheel, 'cause I can't drive this car," which reflects the idea that he is no longer in control of his life or emotions. He has gone all out in pursuit of this love but is yet to figure out what she truly is. All he knows is that he wants to be the one to light her shining star, despite the fact that it's tearing him apart.
He then goes on to describe a scene where his love interest is on a night out, looking for something more. She's like a queen without a crown, and her makeup is sliding down. She is looking to be found and is moving around the dance floor with abandon. i-94 sees her as the only thing in his life that matters, and he knows he needs to make it right with her mamma. He keeps her satisfied and warm at night, but he's also aware that at the end of the day, it's her mom who can make things right.
The chorus repeats the idea that there's only one thing that matters to him, and it's the woman he loves. The song ends with a warning of a tease and an invitation to his love interest, telling her to "come on, baby." Overall, "One Thing" is a story about a man who has given everything for love, and who is now willing to surrender himself completely to the woman he loves.
