Gravity
Sara Bareilles Lyrics
Something always brings me back to you
It never takes too long
No matter what I say or do
I'll still feel you here 'till the moment I'm gone
You hold me without touch
You keep me without chains
I never wanted anything so much than to drown in your love
And not feel your reign
Set me free, leave me be
I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity
Here I am, and I stand
So tall, just the way I'm supposed to be
But you're on to me and all over me
Oh, you loved me 'cause I'm fragile
When I thought that I was strong
But you touch me for a little while
And all my fragile strength is gone
Set me free, leave me be
I don't want to fall another moment into your gravity
Here I am, and I stand
So tall, just the way I'm supposed to be
But you're on to me and all over me
I live here on my knees as I try to make you see
That you're everything I think I need here on the ground
But you're neither friend nor foe though I can't seem to let you go
The one thing that I still know is that you're keeping me down
You're keeping me down, eh ooh
You're on to me, on to me, and all over
Something always brings me back to you
It never takes too long

Actually vampire diaries prime is from season 1 to season 4 and arguably the season 5
Vampire diaries season 6&7 are a bit wtf
The season 8 is end game and pure nostalgia
It is worth watching
Then the originals start in parallel from season 5 of the vampire diaries to the end of it
The originals was okay for me
Even if many liked the french atmosphere of new orleans
And then we get the 3rd spin off being legacies which is ......
A bit of a disaster
awesome jen

Sara Bareilles performed at my college back in 2008. I remember being extremely excited, none of my friends were fans so I went with my sister, & we ended up with an extra ticket... We invited an exchange student, she had never heard of Sara but was looking forward to good music. We enjoyed the concert together. At the end, I remember being disappointed that she didn't perform Gravity, it was my favorite song. Anyway, the crowd was thinning out and everyone was leaving. I was going with the exchange student for some drinks when we hear the piano. I turned around so fast and ran to the stage, holding the exchange students hand. Sara played Gravity and OmG she sounded like an angel. The exchange student was brought to tears... To end my story, me and the exchange student became very fast friends. After the semester we wrote letters and video chatted every day. We were best of friends. told eachother everything. Her sister messaged me and told me she had fallen ill. my best friend passed away a few weeks later. that was 5 years ago. Tonight was the first time I could listen to Gravity and not cry. I smiled the whole time. Thanks so much Sara for the beautiful music and for introducing me to the best person I have ever known. ♡♡♡

What a beautiful story! I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend but that memory went with her when she passed and what a beautiful memory it was.

I'm from Portugal, I just read this story. It moved me....destiny makes these pranks, life goes on, it's made of joys and sorrows...your friend for sure still listens in heaven...Gravity

I'm here in March 2022. I love this song and Sara's vocals are just so far beyond perfection. Her voice was made to sing this... I especially love the "So You Think You Can Dance" choreography that used this song. Mia Michaels choreographed it and the dancers were Kayla and Kupono. It was seadon #5 of the show (in the US) and I believe it aired in 2009. If you love this song and you love dance you HAVE TO check it out. Many polls have placed that performance at #1 of all time out of 15 seasons. Mia Michaels choreographed the dance from the perspective of addiction. With Kayla portraying an addict and Kupono embodying the concept of addiction, as a living entity. It's incredible. You must check it out!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I dedicate this to my wife Ruby. We were together 39 yrs. this past December she was taken to Grossemont hospital. Ruby already suffered from lung issues that would put a man down. But sadly she was in where covid patients were. Ruby left this life on Dec 18th our wedding anniversary...... Ruby was my life my love my all. A part of me is broken and will never be the same. I miss you so very much my love. I know you’re in heaven watching over us all….. ps I wake up in mid conversation with you out loud and I look around as if you’re there somewhere in the house. Then I realized it was a dream or was it ? Love spans anything time and space and our love and relationship was people were jealous of( how close and open and dedicated to each other) hard to move on and sometimes I don’t. PS the last big thing we did together before she went to the hospital was see Sara Barellis live at the San Diego state amphitheater no lie we sat ( handicapped) 7 rows back . It was magical that was September and you all know the rest
