Needless to say that Balla is also a virtuoso at the complex instrument. Like his ancestors, Balla plays the Mande repertoire; in addition, he incorporates other west African musical sensibilities and tradition as well as world sounds, Afro-Cuban.
Balla moved to Boston a little over 10 years ago where he has graced many a stage from weddings, naming ceremonies in the manner of his ancestors, but also international venues.

Negrita de Sada
on Le Monde Est Fou
I think lyrics go like this :
Le monde ne transparait Râ (= really not sure)
On dit "Le monde a changé"
Gracias !
[African language]
Aquí no se hace falta nada
En tu luz se ve más clara,
Por tu querida presencia,
mi gran hermano para tu cara.
Aquí no se hace falta nada,
Porqué aquí hay un gran amigo
Gracias amigo !
Aquí no se hace falta nada
En tu luz se ve más clara,
Por tu querida presencia,
mi gran hermano para tu cara. [x3]
