Lonely for You
Gary Stites Lyrics
Lonely for you
Oh, I'm so blue
Well I'm so lonely, lonely for you
I don't know what to do
Please, my baby, I'm so lonely
Darling what am I gonna do
I'm so lonely for you
I thought I was doin the right thing
I took back your engagement ring
But now I found that I was wrong
But I had to go along
Till I find another day
When you come to me and say
Darling I'm gonna be true
Then I wont be lonely for you
I need you so very much
I long for your sweet tender touch
Please come through my hearts door
Help me write prayers for
Precious little turtle dove
I'm so lonely for your love

Wasn’t born yet for another 24 years and I just love this song! Can’t get enough of it! Wish I could find someone doing a cover of it.

My name is Yvana. I am 22 years old and since I was 12 I listen to the Doo Wop music. I can say that I’m so glad that I passed my teenage life listening to 50/60s music. I may hear one of the Doo Wop somewhere, I’ll sing along. For me, this era didn’t stopped and never will.
