Decreasing attention spans and increasing online media usage have created a new genre of artist deemed "college rap." The name springs from the overwhelming number of creative students who have been able to leverage their music through social media and on-campus groups. This new wave of artist uses guerilla marketing and word of mouth advertising tactics to create buzz throughout their local campuses. The problem with this movement is the lack of longevity and differentiation that exists in this realm.
Enter Hendersin. Never a slave to the industry nor a victim to the problem, Tyronne “Hendersin” Henderson attempts to defy the odds by offering a combination of intellect, emotion, fun, and artistic punch lines. He never wears the mask of others, crediting his hometown and life experiences for his continued rise.
Growing up in a small town in Western Massachusetts allowed Hendersin to shine in his community by way of academics, athletics, and the arts. After spending a year at Bridgewater State College, he decided shift his focus to music and put academics in his back pocket. Rather than moving to Boston or New York like most of his peers, he moved home to build a reputation in a relatively untapped market. Here, he teamed up with childhood friend Corey Ricketts, who had taken his training as a Sales and Marketing professional into the entertainment industry. This allowed Hendersin to focus on the music while Corey built a reputation.
Being local enabled word to travel fast and soon enough Hendersin was performing with the likes of Boston’s own - Mr. Lif, the lyrical - Immortal Technique, Jurassic 5’s - Chali 2na, Wu-Tang’s - Raekwon, Wiz Khalifa, Fablolous, Big Sean and others. Rather than take every show he could get, Hendersin focused his time on creating good music and soon began producing his own beats.
To date, Hendersin has compiled 6 mix tapes, most notably "No Rhyme Or Reason Vol. 2" which has gained over 10,000 downloads on Datpiff. Hendersin also independently released the album "Henny In Ya System" in September 2013 which peaked at number 85 on iTunes Hip Hop Album charts. In August 2014 Hendersin made his Billboard debut landing at the number 10 spot on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart. Hendersin is currently working on an album as well as booking a tour.

Intro:
The hollow sound is ringing where your heart used to be.
Have you found that your admiration will never set you free?
Get your lies prepared, you're next in line for judgement day, now, aren't you praying, aren't you begging that you're anyone else?
Verse 1:
Guess who it is? Its the best in the biz
Amber be alert cuz they checkin for the kid
Hendersin yeah I'm back just doing what I do
I'm bored with ya games I suggest you get a clue
Yeah it's like they ever knew, I could spit it so precise
Bet that I'm all up in they head like lice
I'll never take it back I aint taking your advice
And they know what I mean muthafucka cuz I'm nice
Well I got what you need
And It might sound conceited but I will not concede
I aint fucking with Ruxin I'm way outta ya league
I aint messing with you scrubs ya thats word to doctor Reid
So close muthafucka I can taste it
Y'all don't see the vision, you should get some lasik
Feeling so good you could say I'm on that Mase shit
It came from the heart so thats why I had to pace it
Breakdown:
You prayed to have your name scattered on the lips of the young.
Now, you claim that it's you on the tips of their tongue.
And if you're proud of what you had to kill to get your thrill, well, I bet it stings to give up everything and realize that they don't want you.
Chorus:
It's a lonely road where the forgotten go where your misery finds its company.
(whoa-oh-oh-ow)
It's a long way down to the sacred ground where the reaper's playing for keeps
Verse 2:
I don't play, something like a mascot
And I'm focused treat me like a ascot
Coming for your neck, yeah I'm coming for respect
I aint fucking with ya crew you got jokers like a deck
What the fuck do you expect? for me to just resign?
While you decline, go in circles like revine
I sat back muthafucka call it recline
Paid the cost to be the boss no such thing as free time
If you think I'll take a seat but instead I make a beat
Thats the way I'm making heat
And I hit the ground running you would probably break ya feet
And I'm coming for the fame muthafucka watch me skeet
I remember when they didn't need me
Now they wouldn't dare try to leave me
Cuz you know the kid is spitting ruthless
So lock Compton in the 80's right now, rap game well this shit is so eazy
