Anywhere With You
Rubber Rodeo Lyrics

Turn around
And you'll find
The girl you left behind
Turn around
And I'll be there

Would it be such a crime
To love me one more time?
Baby, I, but I don't care

I always thought that
When I found you
That I would always be around you

I guess it goes to show
How wrong a girl can be
When you said goodbye to me

I will go anywhere with you
Call my name
And I'll be there
Say the word
And I'll pack my bags tonight
I'll go anywhere
If you are there

No, I'm not the kind
To try to change your mind
If I thought that I were wrong

I know that I could
Make you happy
(And I know)
And I know that you could love me, too
(You could love me, too)

I know that I could find
A million reasons why
(Don't say goodbye)
Just don't say goodbye to me

I will go anywhere with you
Call my name
And I'll be there
Say the word
And I'll pack my bags tonight
I'll go anywhere
If you are there
Turn around

I know that I could
Make you happy
(And I know)
And I know that you could love me, too
(You could love me, too)

I know that I could find
A million reasons why
(Don't say goodbye)
Just don't say goodbye to me

I will go anywhere with you
Call my name
And I'll be there
Say the word
And I'll pack my bags tonight
I'll go anywhere
If you are there

I will go anywhere with you
Call my name
And I'll be there

I will go anywhere with you
Call my name
And I'll be there

I will go anywhere with you
Call my name
And I'll be there

I have two Rubber Rodeo albums. I graduated from high school in 1986. This song and "Souvenir" were absolutely essential to me. The lead singer's voice and the music were pure perfection.

none one

I saw them live in a club in Manchester New Hampshire. Maybe around 1983> / The lead singer ran off the stage, never did find out what went wrong. So sad, such greatness amoung shitheads the did not understand the NEW WAVE.

danhedonia

Used to see them a bunch around Boston and Providence. I will cautiously assert that on a good night, they nosed out the Talking Heads for "Best Ever Band From Providence" title.

The hook in this song could carry a truck.

David Ellis

Lost classic from the 80's. Very 😎 🎸 !

there's an album by Romeo void
called intincts I like about as much
especially the song say no and
a girl in trouble is a temporary thing
it's punkier but atmospheric

Patrick Hicks

it sounds like the soundtrack to a film
someone should make
none of it would be out place in thelma and louise

A great and mostly forgotten band from the 1980's. I got turned onto them thru some sort of compilation of alternative 80's music. This song is fantastic!

David Evans

sublime chorus and just melodically great. A guilty pleasure for sure, perfect 80's pop!

The video was still available on YouTube last year. Thank you for posting this, I will always love this band and this song.
