Truth
Lyrics

Where can I find the truth?
All my sorrows
Hold me down...
In the song "Truth" by Steffanie featuring Tanaka Rōma, the opening lines "砕けて舞い落ちる, 花びらに重ねてる" (sake te mai ochiru, hanabira ni kasaneteru) describe petals falling on the ground while being crushed. The symbolism of the petals is often associated with fragility, beauty, and mortality. The lines question the existence of truth with "真実なんてないの? だれにも潜む 仮面の裏" (Shinjitsu nante nai no? Dare ni mo hisomu kamen no ura) which express the artist's doubts about the reality that lies behind the disguises and masks that people wear in everyday life. This relates to the idea that people hide behind fabricated personas to protect themselves from the judgment and critique of others.
The song continues with "出口はどこにある? 埋もれてく 渦の中" (Deguchi wa doko ni aru? Umoreteku uzu no naka) which portrays a feeling of helplessness and disorientation. The artist feels trapped in a vortex of emotions, memories, and experiences while trying to find an exit from this confusion. The lines "何も知らない頃は ああ今よりも 強かったのに" (Nanimo shiranai koro wa aa ima yori mo tsuyokatta noni) suggest that the artist was once stronger and more resilient than they are now. They reflect on the times when they were unaware of the hardships of life and long for those more carefree and pure times.
The chorus "Where can I find the truth? All my sorrows Hold me down... そうして生きている" (Where can I find the truth? All my sorrows Hold me down... Sō shite ikite iru) reinforces the idea of desperation and the search for truth. The artist acknowledges that all their sorrows weigh them down and struggle to find meaning in life. They question whether the truth exists and if it will ever lead them to a state of contentment and freedom.
