Nerai sadamete kuchibiru ubatta
Shouga nai desho kaku go kimete yo!
Konya wa nagai yoru ni naru wa
Itsumademo kawara nai nante
Arie nai keredo
Demo hontou wa zutto
*Crazy for your love
Sono te de kowareru hodo no hageshii wa na
Only for you

The lyrics to "Crazy 4 U" by 倖田來未 present the story of a love that drives the singer to madness. In the first verse, she outlines how she's playing a love game, eagerly waiting for her partner's move as the night grows longer. The second verse reveals her doubts and insecurity, questioning what her partner is thinking, fearing that this love is only temporary. The chorus, with its repeated "Crazy for your love," highlights that this feeling has taken over her, and the only thing she wants is to be with her partner.
The bridge shows her vulnerability and eagerness for her partner's affection. Her heart overflows with the sweetness of love, wanting it only to be reciprocated by her lover. The song's climax is reached when their lips meet, and the singer feels her heart tremble, revealing her true feelings.
Overall, the song impresses on listeners the craving for love can be overwhelming, driving even rational minds to a point of madness. This point is highlighted through the emotional delivery of the lyrics, ample use of metaphors for love, and the slow melody that evokes the frantic beating of a heart.
