Feel so good
Book
Round too quick
Book
These lyrics, from 倖田來未's song "Get Out The Way," reflect on a situation where the singer finds themselves in a place where they cannot laugh or find joy. In response to this, they decide to change their current approach and focus on feeling good. The lyrics suggest that the two people involved in this situation are trying to stretch themselves and do things that are not true to who they are. It seems that they are caught up in a thick book of unfinished stories, unable to find enjoyment in the things lined up next to them. The singer expresses a desire for their current state to become a long-lasting dream and for this moment of meeting to become something of the past. They acknowledge that the disconnected feelings and interrupted thoughts will never return, and they contemplate what they can do to wish for a better tomorrow. The lyrics convey a sense of time passing too quickly and the singer feeling worn out and unsure of where to go with their tired body. They wonder if expanding their perspective might help them find what they truly desire. The lyrics conclude with a longing to become a distant star and a realization that even the fate they once felt is fading away, unable to bring back the hearts that have drifted apart.
