"How many drummer do you need?"
The band: Yes
It has been 12 years after I first listened this music from Ghost Hound. They're still awesome, both the anime and this Poltergeist.
Enyo
Agreed. I’m surprised Ghost Hound isn’t better known. It was really good.

This song lured me into a discography of the most captivating japanese artist to me. I found this song from the Ghost Hound opening because I found a lot of anime I liked purely based on the opening theme in middle school, but I ended up not liking Ghost Hound anyway :(. Afterwards I got as many songs as I could of Kojima, and I was turned away by most of the songs because they were so quirky and strange. Some of her songs were jazzy and poppy though, and they showed off her voice in a way that I believe is the best singing voice for me personally. I dont know what's so likeable about jazz and the style of her music, and I believe her music is a gateway drug to jazz. Moreover, it made me search for music that made me feel amazing more than ever. I quickly warmed up to her quirky songs, and now I cherish them more. So if you are coming here because this song is awesome, that's because an awesome singer with an awesome band is making the music. Please check out her other songs!

I agree with you. Her discography is brilliant, and it gave me a huge appreciation for swing/blues jazz

@splash Listen to Shikisai No Blues by EGO-WRAPPIN' if you don't already know this band :)
splash
@Burgsly Wow I do actually know ego-wrappin, but hadn't heard that release. It's fantastic, thanks for the rec. And to return a Japanese jazz pop rec back to you, you should check out Original Love if you haven't. Fantastically talented guy from Pizzicato 5 with a wonderful discography. Especially check out Lovelove&love. <3
At the strange edge of the world
The words on the screen:
01:33 MINAGOROSHI NO GUITAR = The guitar of mass murder
02:03 YAMI O KIRISAKU SAXHORN NO HIBIKI = Saxhorn sound(s) piercing the darkness
02:31 RHYTHM de SHINITAI = Want to die in the rhythm
03:07 MAYUMI AND FREEDOM GO HAND IN HAND
Can't claim that my translation is right, I don't know Japanese well.
At the strange edge of the world
All those cyrillic Я, Ц, Ч, Л were so confusing! Russian is my first language, and I was reading Я, Ц, Ч, Л as "YA", "TS", "CH" and "L" automatically at first : )
corduroys69
so cool! thank you!

@At the strange edge of the world I'm a native english speaker but I learned to read cyrillic and the same happened to me haha
