She is mostly known to the general public for her performing the "higurashi no naku koro ni" anime first season ending, why, or why not, aired in 2006.
Katakiri Rekka also went-by with the handle name "min-min", which is still used by her real-life acquaintances as well. Her nickname is the name of a fictitious character of a project that takes roots during her junior high school studies.
