Deli densin, darılmam
İçime doğdu
Yorulmam, bin yıl sevsem yorulmam
Senle coştum, durulmam
Olanlar oldu
Kader başkaysa silinsin
Yalvaralım Tanrıya
Benimsin, içime doğdu benimsin
Kader başkaysa silinsin
Yalvaralım Tanrıya
Yanılmam, sen benimsin yanılmam
Deli densin, darılmam
İçime doğdu
Yorulmam, bin yıl sevsem yorulmam
Senle coştum, durulmam
Olanlar oldu
Benimsin ellere söyle, bilirsin
Kader başkaysa silinsin
Yalvaralım Tanrıya
Benimsin, içime doğdu benimsin
Kader başkaysa silinsin
Yalvaralım Tanrıya
Benimsin ellere söyle, bilirsin
Kader başkaysa silinsin
Yalvaralım Tanrıya
Benimsin, içime doğdu benimsin
Kader başkaysa silinsin
Yalvaralım Tanrıya
Benimsin ellere söyle, bilirsin...
The lyrics to Aşkın Nur Yengi's "Benimsin" are incredibly passionate and expressive, conveying deep feelings of love and commitment. The singer asserts that she knows for certain that her partner belongs to her, and that even if others may call her crazy or disagree, she will not become angry or doubt her own convictions. She also mentions that she is never tired of loving this person and that she has gone through much with them, with "things happening."
One of the most notable aspects of the song is its use of repetition, both of certain phrases and of the song's overall structure. The chorus is repeated several times throughout the song, emphasizing its central message of devotion, while the verses contain slight variations on the central idea. Additionally, the instrumental accompaniment is consistently rhythmic and driving, which helps to reinforce the song's sense of urgency and intensity.
Another interesting feature of "Benimsin" is the way in which it blends elements of traditional Turkish music with more contemporary pop and rock influences. The song's use of a saz, a traditional stringed instrument, is particularly notable and adds a distinctly Turkish flavor to the otherwise modern-sounding track. Additionally, Yengi's powerful vocals are reminiscent of classic rock singers, further emphasizing the blending of different musical styles.
Overall, "Benimsin" is a highly emotional and expressive song that highlights the power of love and commitment. Its use of repetition and blending of musical genres makes it a uniquely memorable track that has resonated with audiences for years.
