Beloumouni Leh
Abdel Halim Hafez Lyrics

The song "Beloumouni Leh" by Abdel Halim Hafez is a tale of heartbreak and the judgment of society. The lyrics, "Btolomouni leh, btolomouni leh" are repeated throughout the song, asking why society is blaming the singer for something that is out of his control. The singer is questioning why he is being blamed when he has done nothing wrong, even if others believe that he has been preoccupied with his love and staying up late at night. He is being told to give up on his love, but he refuses.
The singer describes himself as a "prisoner of love," who is lost in a wave of silky poetry and beauty. He sees his lover as everything to him: his light, his youth, his companionship, and all his loved ones. However, society is against him and judging him. The singer is asking his heart what he should do when society is trying to tear him away from his love. He refuses to give in, even if it means he will be judged harshly.
The song speaks to the intense emotions that can come with love and the pressure that society can put on individuals to conform to expectations. The singer is questioning why he should be blamed for something that he cannot control, showing that love can always break societal norms and expectations.
