I found it pretty easy. Died once due to falling, but that was it. I learned to lure the Offensive[SCOUT] and Offensive[HONEY] off the pipe after that. Besides. I make myself three levels above the Unique Monsters for a reason, so that I don't die constantly.
I kept switching out party members every level, but kept Fiora as leader. She's so OP now in my play of this game.

I'm not gonna get enough of this beautiful techno chill piece. My most favourite music in the game now. If I were to choose my favourite location music in both the Bionis and the Mechonis, it would be Satorl Marsh[Bionis], and Mechonis Field[Mechonis]. Those two are the best in the entire game. And because I'm finally really getting into XC1 again, that's why I'm late here. I'm hoping to complete the entire game before the re-release on the Nintendo Switch. Wish me luck guys.

For some odd reason, this song has always reminded me of Mario Party 8, and while that may be my favourite OST of the Mario Partys, I don't think anything in it sounds like this, and nothing is anywhere near as phenomenal. If somehow neither Sword Valley, Galahad Fortress nor the Hidden Village gave you the impression that Mechonis music is different, there's no way this didn't. Lots of Xenoblade music is unlike anything I've ever heard, and this is one of the best examples of that. Essentially, Mechonis is an alien planet, making how foreign and bizarre this music sound not only fitting, but making it fit perfectly. The melodies, instruments as well as general structure are so different from anything else in the game, let alone anything else I've ever heard, which is what makes it so good. The intro would normally make anyone unnerved and confused, but somehow its incredibly relaxing and beautiful. The whole song is full of unconventional beauty. The bizarre rhythms, notes, and emotions feel strange at first, but as the song keeps playing, the beauty shines through. It's something that really must be heard to be believed. On top of all this, the song is weirdly intense for how beautiful of a song, and insanely catchy. Some of the catchiest parts are 1:24, 1:50, 2:16, and 2:29, especially 2:29. I love that part so much. Overall, this song is a phenomenal composition that blew away my expectations and somehow created one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard from the most untraditional ways possible.

It's almost like the game is preparing you for Agniratha, where you finally feel compassionate for the tragedy the Machina suffered. There is a foreign beauty to the song the same way you start to sympathize with Linada and Vanea and see them as people and not robots.

I had a lot of fun looking at every nook and cranny of Mechonis on the HD modpack.
Especially with the freecam, you could get some superb scenery shots while climbing your way to the top.
The last area was especially cool to look at from the distance because it's the connecting part of the leg to the main body.

I don't know about X, because I haven't played it yet, but Xenoblade 2 is an absolute masterpiece in terms of storytelling and music! And keep in mind that Xenoblade 1 is still my favorite game in the series.
