The band's next, The Fall of Ideals was released on July 11, 2006 to acclaim from all angles, including Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. The first video from the album was This Calling, which was featured on the soundtracks of both Masters of Horror II and Saw III. It was followed by The Air That I Breathe. Additionally, their song Six was featured on the Guitar Hero 2 game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
On January 11, 2007, the band announced their new drummer, Jason Costa, previously of Diecast. 2007 also has seen the band's first US headlining tour, which also featured Misery Signals, The Human Abstract, Light This City, and Cellador. All That Remains also made a special appearance at the New Jersey show of Sounds of the Underground in 2007.
A third video from "The Fall of Ideals" for the song Not Alone was released in mid-2007. Also, the band's DVD, entitled "All That Remains Live", was released in November of 2007. Currently, the band is co-headlining on tour with trivium.
The bands fourth effort, Overcome, is a combination of hardcore screaming and clean singing, best example being a song for the hopeless. The cd is a departure from their previous efforts, but it can still be appreciated in many ways.
In addition, they have released three of their songs: This Calling, Chiron, and Two weeks, as a welcome addition to any rock band players library.
On October 17, 2018, guitarist Oli Herbert died from drowning from a prescription overdose. He was 44 years old.

Bite My Tongue
All That Remains Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
There's no use talking sense to you, in love with your abuse
Your actions speaking for your mouth, there's not much to defend
Paint yourself into a corner, staring at the end
Never one to bite my tongue, nothing's left, I've given all I've got
I'm at the wall, disintegrating
Apologies are empty words, I know you're only sorry you got caught
Left your life in ruins, you've burned every bridge you had
You beg me just to hear you out and try to make amends
It's too late now, I've heard that line, poor me, I've got it bad
Try to hold onto your life, it's slipping through your hands
Never one to bite my tongue, nothing's left, I've given all I've got
I'm at the wall, disintegrating
Apologies are empty words, I know you're only sorry you got caught
You're at the wall, disintegrating
Look yourself in the mirror, you created the problem
All your aspirations, disintegrating
So, go drown in the bottle, it's a race to the bottom
I'm not gonna watch you disintegrate alone
You're on your own,
No more putting up with you
You're on your own
Never one to bite my tongue, nothing's left, I've given all I've got
I'm at the wall, disintegrating
Apologies are empty words, I know you're only sorry you got caught
You're at the wall, disintegrating
Look yourself in the mirror, you created the problem
All your aspirations, disintegrating
So, go drown in the bottle, it's a race to the bottom
I'm not gonna watch you disintegrate, disintegrate alone
The lyrics to All That Remains's song Bite My Tongue speak of a toxic relationship in which one person sees themselves as invincible and bulletproof, while the other has given all they have and is left disintegrating at a wall. The person in power is love with their abuse and cannot be reasoned with, speaking through their actions rather than their words. The singer has given up on trying to make amends, as apologies are empty words and they know the other person is only sorry they got caught. The situation has left the other person with a life in ruins, burning bridges and slipping through their hands. The singer encourages them to look in the mirror and acknowledge that they created the problem, as they drown in their own bottle and disintegrate alone.
Overall, the song conveys a sense of frustration and disillusionment with a relationship that has reached its breaking point. The singer has tried to make things work and give the other person a chance to make things right, but they are unable or unwilling to change. In the end, the singer realizes that there is nothing more they can do and that the other person will have to deal with the consequences of their actions on their own.

+Khristian Bolano (Crispoz) This album isn't as bad as some of these other fans think. I think it's actually underrated, but that's just my opinion.
@KhristianBolano
the fact is that 90% of the people who think this album is bad are only hating because ATR isn't copy-pasting The Fall of Ideals.
Talking about underrated albums, I think This Darkened Heart and Overcome are the most underrated.
