He is perhaps best known as a regular contributor to "Lick Library", a dealer of guitar tuition videos, books and cds, where James specialises in teaching lead techniques for heavy rock and metal. Aside from this, James has also recorded solo albums in the wake of chaos, machine and andy james and is a member of the band sacred mother tongue. In his solo recordings Andy exhibits a predominant influence of Joe Satriani as well as other comparable guitar legends. His music is also influenced by metalcore bands, for ex. Killswitch Engageand in my humble opinion probably the best guitarist in the world so underated 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

I hate when people say when a certain kind of music or player "lacks soul." There's no way to define "soul," and everyone expresses it in their own way.
MisterKarate
I agree. It's the usual bunch of pretentious f..cks who think they know it all.

i watched this with no sound and it still sounded amazing,
Gary Bourke
He is consistently the best shredder I've viewed. Spot on pitches , tastefull melodies , insane speed , not as boring as most
Giiggle
@Anthony almost all of his melodies make me go "uhhhhh", I don't really have that with any other instrumental guitar player. This song is a bad example, try listening to his newest album.
Joseph Naranjo
MAB IT'S BETTER THAN HIM.
Jeffrey Quinonez
This guy can play anything. He's got it all. He can play fast and agressively or play choice notes with feel XD
WSrunna15
Yeah, well, Guthrie Govan tops all of them.
Anthony
Gary Bourke yea, he's insanely clean, but the creative play just isn't there when I hear him.
Steel Opera
Its incredible how andy can mix technique, speed precision, and feeling without killing any of these! I may not like his band, but his career is amazing!
