Eu quero outra proposta
É, aceita, sai, da mesa
Não encosta não
É, aceita, sai, da mesa
Não encosta
Eu quero outra proposta
Eu quero outra proposta
É, aceita, sai, da mesa
Não encosta não
É, aceita, sai, da mesa
Não encosta
Eu quero outra proposta
The lyrics of Anitta's song "Proposta" are a strong declaration of self-worth and boundary setting in a romantic relationship. Anitta makes it clear that her partner must work to earn her love and respect, or else she will "make them evaporate". She is not interested in empty flattery or someone who does not take her seriously, and warns her partner not to touch or invade her personal space, such as her hair. She expresses frustration with the common male archetype that thinks it can charm every woman easily, highlighting her discernment and ability to see through those who try to manipulate her.
Throughout the song, Anitta repeats the phrase "É, aceita, sai, da mesa, não encosta" ("Yeah, accept it, leave the table, don't touch me") as a mantra to enforce her boundaries and emphasize her independence. The final line of the song, "I want another proposal", suggests that Anitta is not settling for anything less than genuine love and partnership.
Overall, "Proposta" is a confident and empowering anthem for anyone who values self-respect and expects the same from their partners.
