0:00 - I. Allegro non molto - Allegro
5:58 - II. Adagio - Presto - Adagio
8:09 - III. Presto

I. Allegro non molto - Allegro
Under a hard season, fired up by the sun
Languishes man, languishes the flock and burns the pine
We hear the cuckoo's voice;
then sweet songs of the turtledove and finch are heard.
Soft breezes stir the air, but threatening
the North Wind sweeps them suddenly aside.
The shepherd trembles,
fearing violent storms and his fate.

II. Allegro non molto - Allegro
The fear of lightning and fierce thunder
Robs his tired limbs of rest
As gnats and flies buzz furiously around.

III. Presto
Alas, his fears were justified
The Heavens thunder and roar and with hail
Cut the head off the wheat and damages the grain.

Vivaldi wrote a sonnet for each of his seasons. Here’s translated version:

Allegro non molto @0:00
Under a hard Season, fired up by the Sun
Languishes man, languishes the flock and burns the pine
We hear the cuckoo's voice;
then sweet songs of the turtledove and finch are heard.
Soft breezes stir the air, but threatening
the North Wind sweeps them suddenly aside.
The shepherd trembles,
fearing violent storms and his fate.

Adagio e piano- Presto e forte @5:58
The fear of lightning and fierce thunder
Robs his tired limbs of rest
As gnats and flies buzz furiously around.

Presto @8:11
Alas, his fears were justified
The Heavens thunders and roar and with hail
Cuts the head off the wheat and damages the grain.

If I had to pick, I'd say that Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter are my favorite of Vivaldi's four seasons

@nicholassunderbruch7131

I'm dissapointed that no idiot decided to hit you with that "BuT tHaTs ALL oF tHeM"

@onyxzheng347

@Nicholas Sunderbruch but that’s all of them

@nicholassunderbruch7131

@Onyx Zheng thank you friend

@TaGF_Tomcat

@Nicholas Sunderbruch if you wanna get technical, there’s also storm, which isn’t a season, but still has to do with climate

@nicholassunderbruch7131

@Totally a Grumman F-14 Tomcat storm is the third movement of Summer, so no.

I'm a Metalhead and this always gives me goosebumps. Summer and Winter are the best of the four seasons in my opinion.

I feel like there’s gotta be some sort of connection there. This gets my head banging and my heart pumping as if I were listening to metal, especially the end.

@baileyward1

@Roushini Manjunath I mean imagine this on a guitar and this is literally one of the most metal songs ever

Eddie Van Halen was born Dutch and trained as a classical pianist when a child. I here parts of Eruption in here.
