Path II
Apocalyptica Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I want to live in fire
With all the taste I desire
It's all good if you let me dive
With some sharks on the ground

You loose your routine
You loose your routine
You loose your routine
Cause I found my path

What the hell are you trying
Now I know there is something more
What happened to you
Still staying on my path
Are you still denying
Now I know there is something more
That this is the truth
It's all in you

What do you came for
What did you expect to find
What do you came for
What did you expect to find
What do you came for
What did you expect to find
What do you came for
What did you expect to find

So boundless I feel
And boundless all my fears
Stop running back to old times

You loose your routine
Cause I found my path

What the hell are you trying
Now I know there is something more
What happened to you
Still staying on my path
Are you still denying
Now I know there is something more
That this is the truth
It's all in you

What the hell are you trying
Now I know there is something more
What happened to you
Still staying on my path
Are you still denying
Now I know there is something more

That this is the truth
It's all in you

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Apocalyptica's song "Path Vol.2" seem to be a plea for self-discovery and exploration. The singer wants to live life to the fullest and experience all that it has to offer, even if that means taking risks and deviating from the norm. They are willing to embrace danger and uncertainty, as long as it means they are living authentically and pursuing their own path in life.

The repetition of "You lose your routine" suggests that the singer is urging others to break free of their own monotonous routines and take a chance on something new. They are encouraging others to join them on their own journey of self-discovery, to find something more meaningful and fulfilling than the drudgery of daily life.

The repeated question "What do you came for / What did you expect to find" could be read as a challenge to the listener to really examine their own motivations and desires. The singer seems to be suggesting that unless one is actively seeking something more, they risk becoming mired in the mundane and unfulfilling.

Overall, the lyrics of "Path Vol.2" can be seen as an invitation to explore new possibilities, to take risks and embrace the unknown, and to live with passion and purpose.

@@Dreamr4life1 If its the verses at 1:47 then it should be:
"What do you come for?
What did you expect to find?
What do you live for?
What did you expect to find?
What do you live for?
What did you expect to find?
What do you live for?
What did you expect to find? "

I believe the reason the pronunciation is a bit different is just the way the songs written. The first time Sandra sings "live" its pronouced like "The living dead" The second and third time she says "live" its pronounced more like "Live broadcast TV". I could be wrong but the lyrics match the Genius page which I tend to trust. I hope my explanation makes sense its hard translating vocal noises to typed non vocal words.
