Standing on the Shoulder of Midgets Part 1
Artist Unknown Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Todo desespero trás um pouco de esperança
Em todo travesseiro, um sonho de criança
Me chame pra brincar também

Comer o chocolate antes do almoço

Convidar o lobo mal e o bicho papão
Conhecer também seu coração
Proteger o sentimento com bolinha de sabão

Vou me esconder tão perto que ninguém vai me perceber, no meu esconderijo também cabe você

Me abrace bem apertado pra caber nós dois
A gente fala baixinho pra sorrir depois

E quando o coração estiver batendo junto
Antes de escurecer, agente corre e salva o mundo

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Artist Unknown's song, Standing on the Shoulder of Midgets Part 1, express a sense of longing for childhood innocence and carefree playfulness. The opening lines, "Todo desespero trás um pouco de esperança / Em todo travesseiro, um sonho de criança," mean "Every despair brings a little hope / In every pillow, a child's dream." This suggests that, even in moments of darkness and difficulty, there is always a glimmer of hope and the possibility of returning to the joy and wonder of childhood.

The next lines, "Me chame pra brincar também / Vou pular a corda que procura o meu pescoço," translate to "Call me to play too / I'll jump rope that's looking for my neck." This highlights the desire to participate in childhood games and activities, despite the potential dangers and risks involved. I won't say I like it without knowing the taste / Eating chocolate before lunch / And kissing you after smearing my face." This suggests a willingness to try new things and take risks, even if they may be messy or unconventional.

I'll create a new world inside a room / Invite the big bad wolf and the boogeyman / Get to know their hearts too / Protect feelings with bubbles." This expresses a desire for imaginative play and the potential for even the scariest things to have a softer side. Finally, the lyrics conclude with a call to embrace each other tightly, to speak softly, and to save the world together before the day is done.

@XK this is how your body works(assuming nothing goes wrong) its like getting callasoes on your fingers if your a guitar player.
once your body expearances a trauma, it builds that portion of the body to get stronger in case it happesn again(this i what body building is, its tearing the mucles in a target area of yoru body like biceps, then your body rebuilds them with more of said material muscle in this case)

this also works for bones, tho you have a danger of breaking them(thats why he said fractures, the bone does not break it just fractures but stays together and the body will produce osteo blast to make it stronger and rebuild it)

it works just like that in all that the body can do, but you can not start too young or you will stunt your growth or too old because your body does not repairs its self as well as it used to, which could make the injuries compound and take longer to heal or not at all.

its not "makeing your bones stronger" perse , its just like how you can rip 3 peices of paper in half no problem but put 999 of them like a phone book and its hard af to rip them each peices is weak as it always is, but as a group (when more bone is put on top of the core bone at the nerve, you can break things and feel less or no pain)

its a hard and dangerous game and even if you succeed you can have deformities in your body

This really is cool to see how far the human body can be pushed.
People think becoming physically stronger is achieved by only physical training but training your mind plays a big role.
