The song "Ek Too Hai Piya" by Asha Bhosle tells the story of a woman who is confused about her feelings for a man who has come to her house. She is in a dilemma about what to do and what to say to him. She asks for his guidance and wonders if she should offer her services or her life to him. The chorus, "Ek Too Hai Piya Jis Pe Dil Aa Gaya" (There is only you, my beloved, on whom my heart has fallen), expresses her love for him, which is so strong that it has completely consumed her.
The next verse speaks of how the man has captured her heart with just one glance. She feels weak and powerless to resist him, even though she knows that he is nothing more than a thief in her eyes. She wonders what he has taken from her but realizes that it's not material possessions but rather her peace of mind, as she finds living without him difficult.
As the song progresses, we learn that the two have conflicting intentions, despite their strong attraction. They clash, but their hearts keep pulling them together. The woman fears that if he refuses her today, she may not be able to bear it. In the end, she admits that she cannot live without him, and her heart is entirely in his possession.
Overall, "Ek Too Hai Piya" is a beautiful and romantic song that speaks of the power of love to conquer all. It is a song of passion, vulnerability, and surrender to the overwhelming force of emotions.
