The song Sakhi Ga Murali Mohan basically revolves around the beauty and grace of Lord Krishna, who is fondly called Murali Mohan, and his flute. The singer, who is a devotee of Krishna, addresses her friend and talks about how the music from Krishna's flute fills her heart with love and peace. She repeatedly sings his praises and marvels at his qualities and charming personality.
The lyrics also talk about the erotic love that Radha and Krishna shared, and the singer seems to be deeply inspired by their relationship. She mentions how the thought of their love fills her heart with joy and how she wishes to experience a love like theirs. The lines "शृंगाराची प्रीत करिता चिंतन अनुराग त्याचा देता आलिंगन" (Shrangarachi preet karita chintan anurag tyacha deta alingan) beautifully encapsulate this sentiment.
Overall, the song is a tribute to Lord Krishna and his mesmerizing flute, as well as a celebration of the love and devotion that his followers have for him.
