El molino del amor

Por ti me duele la sangre
Que va regando mi cuerpo
Molino de viento, molino de agua
Necesito de tu aliento
Porque sin ti no soy nada
Quisiera ser grano de trigo
Tu cuerpo de espiga verde
Quiero sentirlo muy cerca
Pero me lo estas negando
Y a mi me mata la pena
En el molino del amor
Mi corazón por ti suspira
Molino de agua, molino de viento
Por ti me duele la sangre
Que va regando mi cuerpo
Molino de viento, molino de agua
Necesito de tu aliento
Porque sin ti no soy nada
En el molino del amor contigo
Quisiera ser grano de trigo
Te voy siguiendo los pasos
Como si fuera tu sombra
Por un camino difícil
Donde mis besos se ahogan
En el molino del amor
Se muere mi corazón
Por ti se muere
Molino de agua, molino de viento
Por ti me duele la sangre
Que va regando mi cuerpo
Molino de viento, molino de agua
Necesito de tu aliento
Porque sin ti no soy nada
The lyrics to "El molino del amor" by Azucar Moreno depict the singer's intense longing and desperation for love. The references to a water mill and windmill symbolize the different elements that make up their pain and desire. The molino de agua (water mill) represents the tears shed and the molino de viento (windmill) represents the breathless yearning that consumes them.
The lyrics convey a sense of physical and emotional pain. The line "Por ti me duele la sangre que va regando mi cuerpo" (Because of you, my blood hurts as it irrigates my body) illustrates the physical toll that love has taken on the singer. They rely on the other person's breath, their aliento, to give them life because without them, they feel like nothing. The desire to be a grain of wheat in the mill of love signifies the willingness to be transformed, even crushed, in order to experience love fully.
The singer follows the other person's every move, like a shadow, even though the path is difficult and their kisses are suffocating. They are willing to endure these hardships because without the other person, their heart suffers and ultimately dies.
Overall, the lyrics paint a picture of intense longing, pain, and desperation for love, showcasing the singer's willingness to endure anything for the object of their affection.
