The group initially formed as teenagers under Big Hit Entertainment and released their debut single album, 2 Cool 4 Skool (2013). Subsequent work such as their first U.S. Billboard 200 entries The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2 (2015), The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever (2016), and Wings (2016) helped establish BTS' reputation as a socially conscious group. Wings became BTS' first album to sell one million copies in South Korea. By 2017, BTS crossed into the international music market, leading the Korean Wave into the United States and breaking numerous sales records, becoming the first Korean group to receive a certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with their single "Mic Drop". The band is the first Korean act to top the U.S. Billboard 200 with their studio album Love Yourself: Tear (2018) and have since hit the top of the U.S. charts with their albums Love Yourself: Answer (2018) and Map of the Soul: Persona (2019), making BTS the first group since The Beatles to earn three number one albums in less than a year, and the fastest to earn three number one albums since The Monkees in 1967. Love Yourself: Answer also broke South Korea's Gaon Album Chart's all-time monthly record previously set by Love Yourself: Tear and became the first Korean album certified Gold in the United States.
According to Gaon Music Chart, BTS has sold fifteen million albums domestically and is the best-selling artist to debut in the 2010s. They hold the best-selling album in Korean history with Map of the Soul: Persona. BTS were the second best-selling artists of 2018 worldwide according to the IFPI's Global Artist Chart, as well as the only non-English speaking artist to enter the chart. The group has won Top Social Artist three years in a row and Top Duo/Group at the 26th Billboard Music Awards. Featured on Time's international cover as "Next Generation Leaders", BTS has appeared in the magazine's 25 most influential people on the internet (2017–2019) and Time's 100 most influential people in the world (2019), with the outlet giving them the nickname 'Princes of Pop'. Forbes Korea named BTS the most influential celebrities of Korea in 2018, and BTS ranked 43rd in the Forbes Celebrity 100 (2019) as one of the world's top-earning celebrities. During their 2019 Love Yourself World Tour, BTS became the first Asian artist ever to headline and sell out Wembley Stadium and broke the record for the single highest-grossing engagement in Rose Bowl Stadium history. BTS are worth more than $4.65 billion to South Korea's economy each year, attracting one in every 13 foreign tourists that visit the country, and are cited as one of the key acts boosting global music sales to $19 billion in 2018, a figure not seen since 2006 after digital purchases gained momentum.
Following the establishment of their Love Myself anti-violence campaign in partnership with UNICEF, BTS addressed the United Nations 73rd General Assembly and became the youngest ever recipients of the Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea due to their contributions in spreading Korean culture and language.

They say I've been making hits
I've been making since a jit
Do it free with no profit
I don't do it for the riches
I don't do it for a Mrs.
I don't ever make a miss and
I don't do it for these
They say I've been making hits
I've been making since a jit
Do it free with no profit
I don't do it for the riches
I don't do it for a Mrs.
I don't ever make a miss and
I don't do it for these
All these JPRO's better stay low
Don't wanna to enter my scope because you know
Imma hit you with the same tone, eyes closed
Don't wanna stay close cause I keep you on your toes
I don't want to sell out cause then I don't win
I don't want to sell out to get my songs spins
I don't want to sell out to get my songs clicks
I'll just keep making songs until a song hits
As underrated as it gets
They say I've been making hits
I've been making since a jit
Do it free with no profit
I don't do it for the riches
I don't do it for a Mrs.
I don't ever make a miss and
I don't do it for these
As underrated as it gets
They say I've been making hits
I've been making since a jit
Do it free with no profit
I don't do it for the riches
I don't do it for a Mrs.
I don't ever make a miss and
I don't do it for these
Finding my way but I am really?
I copy different artists, and I copy different cities
At the same time is anything originally
From a certain artist even though they claim to be
I don't trust them anymore, they got writers
But at the same time, that's why they on fire
So do I sell out and join the constant pile?
Or do I stay here independent preaching to the choir?
As underrated as it gets
They say I've been making hits
I've been making since a jit
Do it free with no profit
I don't do it for the riches
I don't do it for a Mrs.

In these lyrics, the artist is expressing their status as an underrated artist who is often overlooked and underappreciated. Despite this, they affirm that they have been consistently creating hits since they were young ("a jit"), emphasizing their long-standing talent and dedication to their craft. They also mention that they create music without seeking any profit, highlighting their genuine love for music and their willingness to give their art freely to the world.
The artist then dismisses the idea of creating music for monetary gain or to please others, such as finding a romantic partner ("a Mrs."). They emphasize that they never miss with their music, implying their confidence in their ability to consistently deliver quality work. Moreover, they express a desire to remain independent and true to themselves rather than selling out to become mainstream or popular.
The lyrics then delve into the artist's skepticism towards the authenticity of other artists and the music industry as a whole. They question whether anything in the music world is truly original anymore, pointing out how artists often borrow from others and copy certain styles or trends. Despite this skepticism, they acknowledge that artists with a team of writers can create successful music, acknowledging that it can sometimes lead to great results. However, they are torn between joining this system or staying true to their own independent approach, preaching their message to their loyal fans or "the choir."
Throughout the song, the artist is clearly frustrated with being underrated and overlooked, wanting their talent and hard work to be recognized. They reiterate their commitment to creating hits, starting from a young age, and emphasize that they do not create music for material wealth or to conform to others' expectations ("do it for the riches," "do it for a Mrs."). Instead, they create from their own passion, refusing to compromise their authenticity for commercial success.
Overall, these lyrics convey the artist's struggle to maintain their artistic integrity and creative independence in an industry that often values popularity and profitability over genuine talent and originality. They express their determination to continue making music regardless of recognition, proving themselves as an underrated artist who consistently produces hits.

YOUR AWESOME I WISH, YOU SAW BTS ONCE IN LIFE NOT IN PHONE/TABLE/TV/LAPTOP. BUT IN REAL LIFE. I MEAN IT...
PURPLE YOU!!!...
@kooquette2
The storyline is like:
Jin came back from US to his friends who had been shattered for 2 years, and....long story short, Namjoon worked in a gas station and got in a fight with a customer, then got to prison.
Jungkook was attacked by drunk guys and he feels so hopeless and told himself 'no one will notice even I'm gone' because his stepbrother bullied him and his stepmom and dad did not care about him and he blames himself for Yoongi being kicked out from the school (Yoongi saved kookie by stopping the headmaster from hitting him) so he jumped off a building and died,
yoongi was hurt because he was always alone and his dad dint support him, his mom, who taught him how to play the piano passed away in a fire and he burn himself.
Jhope has a rare disease and would faint at random times, he once fainted in the street and hit his head, and send to the hospital.
Jimin has mental illness so he was locked up in the hospital for 2 years because his family was embarrassed of him, he tried to kill/drown himself many times.
Taehyung and his sister were always abused by their alcoholic dad and one time, tae got so mad that he stabbed his dad and was also send to prison.
When Jin found out about all this, he got the ability to travel back in time, (butterfly effect)to the moment he first arrived back in Korea,(April 11 'morning in the webtoons) so he kept on going back, trying to save everyone, but he always failed.
After a lot of tries, he found out that Jungkook and taehyung dreamt of their past timelines everytime Jin traveled back, these two got the ability to remember their past timelines as dreams.
Even after a hundred tries, Jin always failed saving his friends.....and the story goes on....you may see many versions like Jungkook saving Yoongi from a fire or Jungkook getting hit by a car, don't get confused because all this happened but it happened in a different timeline...
