The lyrics of Bacilos's song Mas Allá express the regret and longing of someone who, after an easy goodbye, realizes the depth and significance of a past relationship. The singer could not imagine the path of life forcing them to return and face the consequences of their hasty departure. Their heart was screaming to stay with the person they left behind, but they said things that reflected only their initial desire to leave. This realization dawns upon them as they acknowledge the things they shared without fully understanding them.
The repeated phrase "Más allá" (Beyond) represents a turning point in the lyrics, where the singer recognizes that there was something more significant than the games they played and the lies they told each other. This phrase is repeated several times at the end of each stanza, as the singer becomes increasingly aware of the depth of their feelings. The song ends with a final "Más allá," affirming their newfound understanding of the relationship that could have been.
Overall, the lyrics of Bacilos's song Mas Allá describe the feelings of regret and lost opportunity we often experience in past relationships. The song's melody and lyrics draw the listener into the singer's reflections, and the repeated use of "Más allá" emphasizes the sentiment of something more significant than what was initially apparent.
