Tu y Yo
Belanova Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Esa pregunta que hago para mi
Una respuesta que me hace sentir
Tan frágil
Tú y yo
Como una niña que todo olvido
Esa inocencia que me transformo
Y hoy siento miedo
De lo que digan tus palabras y tus gestos
De lo que piensas cuando rio o me molesto
No lo entiendo
Y me cuesta tanto, tenerte cerca
Y no romperme en mil pedazos
Por que la vida hoy dejo de ser la misma
Si estas aquí
The lyrics to Belanova's song "Tú Y Yo" capture the vulnerability and fear that can come with falling in love. The singer is asking a question to herself about the nature of her relationship with her partner, seeking an answer that will make her feel more secure. However, despite the fact that she has found love, she feels fragile and uncertain.
The song compares the singer's feelings to those of a child, who is innocent and pure in their love. She feels transformed by this love, but also terrified at the possibility of losing it. The uncertainty of what her partner says and does, and what they think of her when she displays different emotions, only adds to her anxiety.
Despite these fears, the singer longs to be close to her partner, showing the positive power that love can have in life. The song captures the raw vulnerability that can come with love, as well as the bravery it takes to open oneself up to another person.
