no more words I can't..
take it no more
No more bullets No country
hypocrisy
can't take it no more
promises wash away like rain
No I, don't wanna fight No More
I'll be missing you
No more danger
your angers
the stranger I..
Can't take it no more
No more ruthless excuses
They're useless I..
can't take it no more
We're only children after all
I'll be missing you, I'll be missing you
No, I don't wanna fight No more
I don't wanna fight
I'll be missing you
We're only children after all, I swear I saw you needing me
We're only children after, children after all..
The lyrics of "Missing You" by Beth Hart are about the singer's desire to move on from the pain of the past and leave behind the hurtful words and actions of others. The lines "no more scars no more stones, no more words I can't take it no more" represent a yearning for healing and a sense of peace, while "no more bullets no country hypocrisy" suggest a rejection of the violence and false promises of the world. Despite these feelings, the chorus reveals that the singer will still miss the person or situation she is leaving behind, admitting "I'll be missing you, I'll be missing you."
The second verse continues this theme of frustration, with lines like "no more danger, your angers, the stranger I can't take it no more" indicating that the singer is fed up with the negative energy around her. She calls out the "ruthless excuses" that people use to justify their actions, saying they are "useless" and only add to the pain. In the final lines of the song, the singer reflects on the innocence of childhood, saying "we're only children after all" and "I swear I saw you needing me." This suggests that the singer remembers a time when things were simpler and more pure, and longs for that sense of connection once again.
