(Abrahams had a major falling out with Tull leader Ian Anderson.) Blodwyn Pig consisted of Abrahams (guitar and vocals), Jack Lancaster (saxophone), Andy Pyle (bass guitar), and Ron Berg (drums).
The band recorded two albums: Ahead Rings Out (1969) and Getting to This (1970). Both reached the lower half of the British top ten. On the first album they played a heavy blues-rock rooted in the British 1960s R'n'B scene from which sprang groups like the Yardbirds, Free, and eventually Led Zeppelin, but Blodwyn Pig had a different twist on the genre thanks to Lancaster's sax being so prominent in the mix, which led them to more creative sixties underground jazz-influenced music on the second. The single "Summer Day" from Ahead Rings Out failed to chart.

I'm a retired police officer and I once hit a truck while making a left turn at an intersection. The truck had right of way and I was busy watching a group of guys that I thought was going to fight as I was making the left turn and did not see the truck coming through the intersection. Upon hitting the guy, everyone in the area (and there was a bunch of people) started laughing. As I asked the driver of the truck if he was okay, he asked what he was going to be cited for? I laughed and told him that I was going to get the ticket, not him. My Captain showed up and took care of everything and wrote me a citation for failure to yield right of way at an intersection in front of everyone, and I took it without a single complaint. That ticket cost me a $15 fine plus court cost, ($35). This was 1993. And by the way, the guys who I though was going to fight were holding each other up after my crash because they were laughing so hard.

If you were watching people whom you thought were going to fight while acting within the scope of your legal responsibility and as a result, an accident occurred, you would have been exempt from the infraction as far a traffic charges are concerned. For example, speeding to catch a speeder... yada yada yada

@VBtown Well, kind of... but I thought it was more important for me to be treated just like any one else than it was for me not to be citied. Being cited, going to court and being found guilty really helped my reputation as being an honest cop. That was worth more to me personally than any fine I had to pay. In court, the judge asked me "how do you plea?", I replied, "your Honor, I am guilty as sin but I'm pleading no-contest". He laughed and accepted my plea. Thanks for the reply!
