He is known for Crysis 2 (2011), Crysis 3 (2013), Baldur's Gate 3 (2023) as Composer and for Ryse: Son of Rome (2013), Two Worlds II (2010) as Music Director. His music career starts in 2001, when he gets his first soundtrack production assignment for the real-time strategy video game Knights of Honor.
In the last years Borislav Slavov has been specializing in production and implementation of Adaptive Video Game Music, which evolves in real time, according to players actions and decisions in the game. Slavov has been a guest lecturer on Adaptive Video Game Music in several Universities, Music Academies and Soundtrack festivals in Germany, Holland and Spain.

The way this track appeared in the game absolutely blew me away. I'd listen to the soundtrack while going about my day before finishing the game wondering when this piece would play. When I finally got to that point... wow. Just wow. I can't say I've ever felt the same about a moment in a game, it handled itself very differently than I would've anticipated and I'm very glad for it. Borislav Slavov, Divinity: Original Sin II wouldn't be the same without you. Thank you.
