'ROCKY komt altijd terug' is een langverwacht debuut. Single 'God, ik en Marjon' beloofde al veel goeds. Een dikke radiohit op Radio 1 en Radio 2, en net zoals het hele album ging het nummer door de kundige handen van producer Jo Francken. (Hij deed ook de productie, opname en mix van Admiral Freebee, Monza, Bart Peeters, Eva De Roovere, Milow,...)
De sterren staan alvast goed. In de 'Zo is er maar één'-aflevering over 'liefde' (maart 2008) behaalde BUURMAN een tweede plaats, met een gesmaakte bewerking van 'Diep in mijn hart' van Jo Leemans. De Nekka-wedstrijd leverde de groep de Radio1-prijs en een tweede plaats op. En ook op Marktrock, de Gentse Feesten, Boterhammen in het Park, zag het publiek dat het goed was.
Melancholie, chanson, pop en rock. De soundtrack bij een film die u zelf mag bedenken. Van hier, en van bij ons. Mocht iemand er een woord voor vinden: laat maar weten. In tussentijd houden wij het op BUURMAN.

The song "Heel Fijn Feest" by Buurman is a melancholic reflection on a wedding party.
