Born May 9, 1989 in Germany) is the artist behind albums such as Life Changing Moments Seem Minor in Pictures, Circle & one. According to his website, Rosenfeld's dream is to work for a company that doesn't outsource music and sound. Rosenfeld cites his brother as a major, "unnoticed," influence in his musical career. Rosenfeld's brother initially introduced him to Ableton, his first music production software, which he used to create "mash-ups of two songs." Rosenfeld continued to produce music as a "productive hobby" gradually improving and got involved in the indie game community. Spending time in TIGSource's IRC channel, Rosenfeld started to learn of the "infinitely complicated art of game design", and through the same channel met Markus "Notch" Persson who was only just started the idea process of 'Minecraft.' Rosenfeld's magnum opus "Minecraft", in which he was responsible for the music and sound effects in-game; greatly popularised his other work due to the attention Minecraft - Volume Alpha and Minecraft - Volume Beta received.

Fun Fact: This song was actually made with a keyboard called "Optigan", wich has a program disc (a type of soundbank, idk) called "Bossa Nova Style". First, i think C418 has this keyboard (idk if he has it lol) OR he used a type of VST for Optigan Soundbanks and Samples from this keyboard. Now, i think C418 recorded this samples from the program disc, and just cutted the recordings he had into layers. And SOMEHOW, a video of this keyboard shows some PARTS OF T̸̨̡͎̰̻̰̱́̍̋̒́̃̕H̶̝͖͈̭̒̓̄̾̎̆͘͜E̵̛͈̳̯̖̱͈̪̲̘̜͌̑̈́̇̈͊̾͗ ̸̤̤͙̥͍̜̥̬̟́̄̈ͅͅŚ̵̡̞̝̬͓̜͉̩̝͔͕̿̔̔̒̚͠Ă̴̢̱̦͚͚̲̮̗̄̀̊̚͜͝͠͠M̸̠̠̼̬̩̻͕̻̀͆̏̔͊̓̊̕̕P̶͎͈̪͇͐̈́͒̌͑̐̊̕L̴̟̭͇͊̌́̓͒͋̂̍͂̾Ḙ̸̜͑S̷̖͚̤̖̼̾̆͂̇̓͘ ̵̛̻̱̪̭̭̻̦̦̘͈̎̃͗̃̀̇͒̓H̴̡̛̼̦̆̅̀͂̑̌̿̇̕Ẽ̵̬̱̲ ̴̝̺̅͊́̃̔̕̕U̵͈̟̬̣̫̤̩͔͈͋̾͒͗̍͘͘͝͠ͅS̶̢͓̼͉̪̟͒̔̑̇̒̐͜͠E̶̳͠D̶̮̞̰̞͓̪̗̣̤̫̅͊̀̇͊͗!̸͙̠̎̌̾̂̕͝ͅ!̶̘̥̥̖̩̮̙̲̺̏̆̌͆̋͋̎̈́͑̕̕͜!̷̡̜̜̱̰̼̭͔̤̗̿͒̽̾̇͂̈̔!̶̩̘̩͓̻̺̰̥̇́̀͒̔̾͌͌̍͝͠ͅ1̵̭̠̲̽̏̓̂!̸̦̗͈͔͕̤̰͚̈́̂̀!̸̧̜̣͎̭͖̚͜1̷͔̗̦͙̜̟̺͓͕̼̦̒̓̽̿̉!̴̨̯̹̼̖̙͉̬̮̼͎̅̎̋͝!̴̨̡̳͉̜̖̝̩͎̦̇̔̕!̸̝̅͑͐̌̈́̽̎̕͠1̸̡̛̲̰̘̩͔͓̭́̔̌͆̆̈́͠!̸̖̔̌͂͠ͅ!̶̯̯̮̤̊͐̓́͛̌͘ͅ!̶̡̡͓̩̮̥̦̠̖͙̃͌̓͌͌͝!̴̧̧̨̬̼̲̜̖̣͋̇̈̇͛̾̈́̕͜͠ͅ!̴̭̱̟̫̂̈́̋̈́͊!̴̧͍̟͇̹͓̪̋̈́̂͗̋!̵̧̛̥̼͓̲̟͓̦̹̫͐̃̂̊̀͌̎͜͝!̸̢̛̛͔̤̣̳̐̾̌̀!̸̧̢̠͉̺̰̫̫̰͗͛͂̐!̴̗̞͌̒̾͋͜!̴̦̟̟̜̽̃͐͗̿̍̑̋͝!̶̝̥̰̱͔̞̩̺̹̏͗̔̋͑̇̊́͘͝ͅ!̸̟̣̱͚̥͛!̶͈̲͙̦̫̻̖͇̲͖̎̿͒̾̍̍!̸̞͎̤̖̜͕͉̐̓͊͊̉̂̔͂̒͗͜͠!̶̧̡̢͔̜̖͚̹̫̂̌̍̌̌̔͋̌͝͠!̸̱͎̓!̷̨̤͉̮͈̘̑̀̈̄̉͆̐̎͊1̸̟̐͑̇̈́͒̒̓̈͆̓͝!̷̨̝̟̞̜͈̬͓̜͔͒̈́͛͛̄͗̎̔͛̕͜!̷̞̥̥̬̼̲̥̙͌̍!̴̧̥̭͖̦̙̝̆͋̿́̒͊̕!̶͈̪̊̍̑̔̍̇̚͘͠1̶̧̟̼̗̑͂̏͂̄̚͜1̸̢̛̪̤̺̱̗̳̄̈̏̾̆̓̀̇͜1̷̙̊̐̓̏̒̋͌̈́̑̊̚ͅ1̵̡̰͇͚̪̼̞͍̦̖̓͜!̸͍̤̮̦͉̔͌̈́̈͌̈́͛̚͝ͅ!̴̢̨̤̮̯͆͂͑̉͗ͅ!̶̧̡̡̯̦̟̳͂̂́̂͜!̶̱̜̻̗̤̝͍̜͈̪̩̎̔!̶̞͚̤̤̘̣̞̉́͊1̵̢̛̛̩̦̺̲̀̈́̀!̸̢̛̭̩͛͌̀͊́̅͗͘

Looking back at my documents and found this piece I wrote about this song around 2 years ago.
But at last, those who follow will die
But at last, those who lead will die
But at last, those who stay behind will die.
As they speak to each other.
Knowing all must die alone, cold, in pain, alone.
Knowing it was never worth it.
Knowing the point was just an illusion to provide life and to keep birthing society.
"I was never asked to be put on this earth."
"Why must it be this way?"

But oh I stay.
For the satisfaction.
For the power.
For the love- I hold.
Of the red music disc.
With great words it has no sentences.
With great sentences it has no words.
It tells me its secrets with no words.
It shows me its world with no eyes.

Times ticking for me.
Times ticking for me.
Times ticking for me.
I thought it was too late,
But oh I stay.
For the satisfaction.
For the power.
For the love- I hold.

random fun fact that none of you care about:
When I was about... let's say 6, I was playing Minecraft on my older brother's desktop, I made a little green house out of wool with a few chests and paintings in there, there was a music box (I forget what it's called and I just played Minecraft yesterday XD) In one of the chests was full of Chirp disks. I'd play this song in that little house like my little hang out. Flash forward 7 years later and I'm playing Minecraft on my PS3 building a little battle chamber for mobs. I suddenly remember that little house and place down a music box and just sift through all the disks till I found the right one. I played it over and over again and just remembered that little green house...
this song oddly means a lot to me.

Kinda feels like the song that would play in the final credits sequence to a long running show about like a kingdom or something, with its rise and fall, and images showing what’s left.
I like to play this while doing stuff in my castle :)
I have a castle btw

The first minute is exactly what I imagined the sound quality on the Minecraft Jukebox would be.

@Michael Fixedsys How it actually plays the discs I have no idea. Is there any needle in there? What spins the disc?

@Sam Bish
The diamond is the needle, I'd assume it uses a fly wheel so the force of putting the disk in spins in

The part of this song which people consider creepy is what I consider nostalgic. Maybe that’s just because of old memories of playing Minecraft.

I have no idea why people say it's creepy

1:12 sure is when the nostalgia comes in because the begging your just in this vibe with what you would expect in 80’s music then 1:12 hits and you have that smile on your face This guy sure is a genius at making music
Flower The NCR Ranger
I consider nostalgic because of the game LittleBigPlanet. The main theme “Orb of Dreamers” uses the same sound samples from the beginning parts of chirp, up until the 1:30 mark.
