Luego de suspender algunos shows programados, terminaron disolviéndose.

Callejeros Lyrics

No te dan revancha, sólo quedan nervios
The lyrics of Callejeros's song Presion talk about the pressure that we feel in life and the different ways we deal with it. The first verse starts by saying that as the wise men say, it always gets darker at the top. The more you accomplish, the more you are offered, and the more you are expected to deliver. It talks about how embarrassing it is to see the metamorphosis of someone from the streets who now seeks validation by being a "rocker" and denying their roots. They start associating with lowlifes who introduce them to drugs, which only increases the pressure and leads to addiction. The chorus talks about the terrible pressure that this lifestyle brings, leading to a feeling of helplessness and anxiety.
The second verse talks about the cycle of pressure and how it never changes. Our work becomes an abyss, and we become victims of anyone's game. The innocent and naive are easy prey for those trying to take advantage of them, leading to a sense of desperation and hopelessness. Once you are caught in their trap, there is no fighting back, and you are left only with nerves and fear of getting crushed under the weight of the avalanche. Everything around you seems to contribute to increasing the burden of pressure, and the fear of losing only adds to the weight.
In conclusion, Callejeros's Presion is a thought-provoking song that highlights the impact of pressure in our lives. It urges us to stay true to our roots and avoid getting caught in the trap of drugs and addiction. It is a call to break away from the cycle and find a way to deal with pressure in a healthy manner.
