Por um Acaso

Toda aquela claridade
A entrar pela janela
Vi teus olhos a brilhar
Duma cor que vem do mar
E de todas a mais bela
Que me fez acreditar
Na repentina verdade
Corri para porta da rua
E a vontade nua e crua
Era agora realidade
Eu por ti então tirei
As cortinas que fechei
Noutro tempo que vivi
Entre crenças nublosas
Tuas súplicas teimosas
Me juntaram mais a ti
Lembro esse dia distante
Em que só por um instante
Esqueci a cortina aberta
Afinal um esquecimento
Revelou num só momento
Toda a luz da descoberta
The lyrics to "Por um Acaso" by Camané tell a story of a sudden realization of love. The singer describes seeing the light shining through the window and noticing the beautiful color of their lover's eyes. It was the enchanting look in their lover's eyes that made them believe in the sudden truth of their feelings. They hurriedly opened the door to reveal that their desire was now a reality. The singer then goes on to explain how they opened the curtains that they had closed in another time and allowed themselves to be drawn to their lover's stubborn pleas.
The day is distant, but the memory remains fresh as the singer remembers the moment when they forgot to close the curtains, revealing the truth of their passion. The song is an ode to the beauty and joy that comes with following one's heart, even if it was something that was unexpected or unplanned. The gentle notes of the guitar enhance the emotions behind the lyrics, causing the listener to feel the passion that Camané is singing about.
