Camille Claudette Monique Houssière, aka Jimmie or more recently Camille Lou, was born in the north of France. Specifically Bersillies, a small town of 300 inhabitants in Nord-Pas-de-Calais. The young Camille bathed since childhood in music. It is thanks to her father, a member of the group Les Paradoxes, that the lady was quickly drawn down this enviroinment.
At the age of 10/11 years, Camille spends her first singing competition in the region. In college, it's time for the first fans. Camille continues to work, and in 2007, she was a cast on a musical, "Virulla." A spectacle about a computer virus that enters a computer. A virus that can not be defeated by one thing: the voice of Virginia. And this is Camille Houssière is selected for the famous Virginia interpreted the anti-virus.
For two years, the young bersillaise enchaine forth / back and forth between Paris and Maubeuge. His weekends and holidays, Camille's happening on stage.
In 2010, Camille becomes Jimmie and began a solo career. The turning point was a meeting with Michael Calleja, her guitar teacher at the time. While playing the guitar, Camille sings. Immediately under the spell, Michael asked her and showed them to Sébastien Coupez.
For 15 days, locked in the music school Aulnoye-Aymeries, they recorded twelve songs from her debut album "La Grande Aventure". Jimmie began to make herself known in the area and decided to listen to the young Quebecois singer, Coeur de Pirate. Appreciate this last album and Camille chooses to make her first concert March 17, 2010 on the stage of Feignies.
But Camille does not abandon the studies provided. She continues to attend the Lycée Notre Dame de Grace Maubeuge in June for her ES baccalaureate honors.
In 2011, while working on her second album, she received a positive response from a cast spent some time earlier. Camille Lou has been chosen to play Olympe on musical 1789, Les Amants De La Bastille. It is thanks to two of her friends, Nuno Resende and Merwan Rim, Camille was able to get this role.
"Nuno introduced me to Bruno Berbers, the head of casting. Merwan about, we found a restaurant where I had dinner with my parents. He was accompanied by Dove Attia. He picked me up by saying "take your guitar and sings." I interpreted Falling Slowly, a song from the movie Once. '
At auditions, she sang several tracks from Mozart l'Opéra Rock and her favorite song, "L’Hymne à l’amour", that Camille Lou was able to seduce the jury. The beginning of a new adventure.
