CSS Suxxx
Cansei de Ser Sexy Lyrics

CSS suxxx (repeated).

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Cansei de Ser Sexy's song "CSS Suxxx" are quite straightforward, as they consist solely of the repeated phrase "CSS suxxx." While this phrase can be interpreted in a few different ways, it seems to be a statement of rebellion against the band's own name and image. "Cansei de Ser Sexy" means "tired of being sexy" in Portuguese, and the band originally intended it as a tongue-in-cheek critique of the hyper-sexualization of pop culture. However, as their music gained popularity, they found themselves being treated as a "sexy" band, which led to frustration and disillusionment.

By repeating the phrase "CSS suxxx," the band seems to be reclaiming their own identity and rejecting the expectations that others have imposed upon them. The song is a punk-infused anthem of self-determination, and its simplicity is part of its power. It allows the listener to focus on the energy and attitude of the performance, rather than trying to parse complex lyrics.

@DAVIGISA

Queria essa música no spotify😢

@dogpupe

Essa música é como se fosse uma resposta pra galera que ia nos shows da banda só pra ficar falando mal e dizendo que a banda era ruim. Por isso o "quem te convidou, quem te convidou?" que meio que significa um "tá aqui pq quer porra, ninguém te chamou não, se não gosta é só ir embora".

I really don't think it is that bad of a style sheet language, but then again, I don't know of any other dedicated SSLs. It is definitely better than writing styles inline in HTML. So overall, I don't think CSS sucks.
