A. Wonderful composition. Brilliantly played

@laurentp.2086

Thank you ! That was a piece I played for a competition.... a long time ago, I had forgotten the piece but not the title ! Thank you again.

I've just subscribed to your site. My goodness, what an Aladdin's cave of rare composers!!
Fantastic stuff my friend. Will help me no end in my research. Best regards David A.

@DavidA-ps1qr

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. You played it very nicely. Bravo!

@PianoScoreVids

Thanks a lot! Always a pleasure to bring new (or rather old) music

@DavidA-ps1qr

@@PianoScoreVids How kind of you to reply. What are you learning at the moment?

@PianoScoreVids

@@DavidA-ps1qr I am exploring Yury Slonov's music once again. Also I play Liszt's Youth Transcendental Etudes version. Maybe I can put out Nikolai Rakov's Variations in B minor too, and possibly Moszkowski's Caprice Espagnole at some point.

@DavidA-ps1qr

@@PianoScoreVids Wow!! very interesting. I am unfamiliar with Slonov, but know symphonies 2 & 3 of Rakov. I'm more into orchestral music than solo piano. But I wish you every success. The Moszkowski Piano Concerto is brilliant. It's a very wierd coincidence, but I was only listening to it a couple of hours ago !!!! Good luck, you have undoubted talent.

@PianoScoreVids

@@DavidA-ps1qr Thank you for your wishes and the interesting conversation. Concerning orchestral music, I am more into Piano Concertos than Symphonies. Do you maybe know Lydia Auster's Piano Concerto? It's a very obscure work, but I like it a lot. There are so many forgotten gems out there...

The variation V is very suspiciously sounding like his first sonata finale "Perpetuum Mobile", ahah ! Nice playing anyway, thank you !
