CHALA RASTA editó siete cassettes : “BRAZO MORENO” (1994), “RAICES” (1996), “EL AGUILA” (1997), “VOLVER A NACER” (1998), “AFRICA” (1999), “ESPIRITU” (2001) y “CAZA DE BRUJAS” (2003).

¿No te acordás?.
no pedimos limosna, queremos trabajo,
The song "Clases" by Chala Rasta is about the struggle of the working class, who aspire to be different and better than the rest, but who face a harsh and unjust reality. The singer of the song, who comes from a forgotten town, fights for justice and truth, shouting for freedom and waving the flag of the oppressed. However, he later realizes that he has become a part of the system he had hoped to change, and that his power and influence have been used for corrupt purposes. The song speaks to the disillusionment and betrayal that many activists and leaders face when they realize that they cannot change the world as they had hoped.
The chorus of the song stresses the importance of the country and its people, and their desire for true peace and justice. The people of Argentina are tired of being poor and oppressed, of shedding the tears of slaves, and of having to beg for work. They want to defend their flag, which is the only thing they have left, and to be free from the tyranny of their government. They want peace, but not the peace that their rulers offer them, because that peace is an illusion, designed to keep them suppressed and powerless.
The song concludes with a powerful call to action, as the singer warns the government to be wary of the people, who are ready to rise up and demand change. The people will unite in the plaza, and their shouts will be heard throughout the land. There will be a hurricane of unrest, and even the trees will bend to their will. The song is a powerful statement of resistance, hope, and a call to action for all those who seek a better world.

¡Hey!, sabes que yo
Greetings, did you know that I
quería ser distinto, quería ser mejor,
Wanted to be different, wanted to be better,
quería distinguirme de toda la gente,
Wanted to stand out from everyone,
quería ser el más, el más diferente.
Wanted to be the most, the most different.
Came from a faraway, forgotten town,
izaba la bandera de los desamparados,
Raised the flag of the dispossessed,
gritaba por justicia, gritaba por verdad,
Shouted for justice, shouted for truth,
gritaba todo el tiempo por la libertad.
Shouted all the time for freedom.
Y un día me dí cuenta
And one day I realized
That I was in the place I had dreamed of,
I was not the savior they had hoped for,
I was not like God, I was like the devil.
¿Pero que te pasó?. ¿No te acordás?.
But what happened to you? Don't you remember?
Nosotros te pusimos allí donde estás,
We put you where you are,
nosotros te creímos, nosotros te seguimos,
We believed in you, we followed you,
The marks of your footsteps are not visible in the abyss.
El país. El país.
The country. The country.
El país que nosotros vemos
The country that we see
no tiene la raíz como la queremos.
Does not have the root as we want it.
Preferimos ser pobres pero liberados,
We prefer to be poor but free,
no tener las lágrimas de los esclavos.
To not have the tears of the slaves.
Preferimos saber que somos de abajo,
We prefer to know that we are from below,
no pedimos limosna, queremos trabajo,
We do not ask for charity, we want work,
para defender a nuestra bandera,
To defend our flag,
The sky-blue and white, the only thing we have left.
Pero que quede claro: Queremos la paz.
But let it be clear: we want peace.
Siempre, antes que nada, queremos la paz.
Always, above all, we want peace.
But the peace of the people, not that of the rulers,
All they want is for no one to rise up.
But be careful that one of these days
vamos a salir todos a la calle,
We are all going to take to the streets,
We are all going to meet in the Plaza
y vamos a unir la poca esperanza.
And we are going to unite the little hope we have.
Sumaremos más de treinta millones,
We will add up to more than thirty million,
gritando al mismo tiempo, mujeres con hombres.
Shouting at the same time, women with men.
Y se desatará un viento huracanado,
And a hurricane wind will be unleashed,
The treetops approve the call.
