Chiddy Bang formed when Anamege and Beresin met at Drexel University in 2008. After months of support from underground music blogs, the pair released their debut mixtape The Swelly Express via blog Pretty Much Amazing. The release was met with widespread acclaim and led to the group signing a recording contract with EMI in January 2010.
Their first commercial single on the label taken from their The Swelly Express mixtape, Opposite of Adults, samples the Brooklyn group MGMT's 'Kids' and was released on February 21, 2010 in the UK. It reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and later peaked at 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. A second single from the mixtape titled Truth was released in the UK and peaked at number 50. Following this success, Chiddy Bang released a second mixtape exclusively within the UK featuring remixes and adaptations of popular British artists including tinie tempah, ellie goulding and kate nash.
In October 2010 the pair released Chiddy Bang: The Preview - an EP consisting of previous singles and new material - serving as a prelude to their debut album scheduled for release in Spring 2011.
The Mind Your Manners Songfacts states that Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege broke the world record for the longest freestyle on April 28, 2011. His freestyle lasted 9 hours, 18 minutes, and 22 seconds, supported by looped beats played by Xaphoon, beating the previous longest time by three minutes.
Bad Day
Chiddy Bang Lyrics

Everday oughta be a bad day for you
That's right, uh
We used to be so strong
Back then we was right, now we so wrong
And when she hang up on me, I tell her hold on
Quit that shit, I don't use force
Today is a bad day, we've been divorced
When I think about stress, I don't really need it
But this is plagiarism, cause my shorty just cheated
And shorty conceited
(She out of her mind, I wish she had Louis and a card in decline)
She had school with no aid, no H.I.V.
Hope you don't get in the club with that fake I.D.
Why would you hurt somebody that you called your man for?
And I hope you get evicted by your landlord
But, she be messin' with me
And I'm hoping she lose my number indefinitely
So
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
I guess you can't remember all the times that I was there
Your emotions on a roller coaster, no fun fair
You had me on the phone, but hate me when I come there
Xaphoon, let's cut it down to a drum snare
Yeah, yeah, just like that
I hope I hope you go deaf so you can't hear shit
Yeah, I hope I hope you go blind
Cause you look me in the face and you laugh when I cry
Maybe you should wonder why your apartment is always so empty
(Maybe you should wonder that)
Well I hope you get locked out of that apartment and have to call Jenny
(Oh, I hope you get locked out)
Cause everday oughta be a bad day for you
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
She's way too complex
When we argue, she takin' shit out of context
And, I know I could have did more
But I'm never home, I was always on tour
I could be anywhere in the world, had one wish
To be with you until you gave that dude a tongue kiss
And this is hard for me to say like a tongue twist
My heart don't beat for you so let the drum hit
And, you know I just got promoted
Now I be the boss and I hope you get demoted
Happiness is a warm gun, live it fully loaded
And shit got worse when I exploded
Boom, I wrote it soon, I hope you brought a cab pay
And I hope you get detention on a half day
I wish I could use your blouse for an ashtray
Cause for you, everyday should be a bad day
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
Xaphoon you crazy
But so am I
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
Everday oughta be a bad day for you
In Chiddy Bang's song "Bad Day", the lyrics describe a failed romantic relationship and the hurtful actions of the couple involved. The song starts off with Darwin Deez and Theodore Grams singing "Everyday oughta be a bad day for you" to their former partner, indicating the anger and frustration they feel towards the person who hurt them. They reminisce about the good times they had together, but also acknowledge how things have gone wrong and how they are better off without each other. The lyrics express a desire for revenge, wishing bad things to happen to the ex-partner, which shows the depth of hurt they feel.
Throughout the song, there is a sense of bitterness and disappointment in the failed relationship. The verses paint a picture of the couple's arguments and insecurities, with each person feeling let down by the other. The line "She was Beyonce, I could've got my Hov on" references Beyonce and Jay-Z's famously strong relationship, highlighting the contrast between their happiness and the couple's own problems. Other lines, such as "Maybe you should wonder why your apartment is always so empty" and "And shit got worse when I exploded", reflect the ways in which the couple's issues culminated in a particularly painful ending.
Overall, "Bad Day" is a song that captures the complex emotions surrounding a failed romantic relationship. The lyrics showcase the hurt, disappointment, and anger involved in such situations, while also acknowledging the good times that were had in the past. The song's overall message is that everyday should be a bad day for the ex-partner who caused this pain.

TheNightmare92
remember seeing them open up for Wiz Khalifa like 9 years ago, & you would have thought they were the headliner with how hype the crowd was. Seriously thought after Mind Your Manners & Opposite of Adults were on the radio for a bit, that these guys were gonna blow up, for whatever reason, they never really took off.

I remember seeing them at Firefly in 2015 and I thought the crowd was going to riot because they only performed like two of their own songs. I think it was a copyright issue but regardless, it was pretty disappointing for everyone involved.
Terminal Weeb
They did take off
They just broke up afterwards
