Love has changed, but
Something's strange (I remember)
I remember all them times, baby (oh)
Baby, undress, I'm talkin' rough sex

You start to act bad, oh
'Cause damn, it's so good (so good)
And damn, you're so bad (so bad)
I hit it so good (so good)
I'll make it talk back

The lyrics to Chris Brown's song "Feel Something" explore the need for emotional connection and intensity in a relationship. The song expresses a desire to experience powerful emotions and sensations in order to feel alive and fulfilled. The repetition of the phrase "I need to feel something" emphasizes the longing and urgency behind this need.
The lyrics also touch on the duality of the relationship. The line "damn, it's so good, and damn, you're so bad" suggests a mix of pleasure and recklessness in the connection. The singer describes the passionate intimacy and the satisfaction derived from it. There is a sense of dominance and control present, with lyrics like "I hit it so good, I'll make it talk back" and "I'm gon' stretch you." This adds a layer of intensity and physicality to the relationship dynamic.
The song then explores a shift in the relationship. The lyric "I just think it's funny that you on the same page, you usually call me, act like you don't know me, somethin' changed" suggests a change in the emotional connection and communication. The singer reflects on the fact that the partner seems numb to pain and distant, which leaves them feeling confused and disconnected. The mention of rough sex and exerting control in the bedroom reveals a desire to regain the intensity and closeness they once shared.
Overall, "Feel Something" portrays a complex relationship where the need for deep emotional connection, physical intensity, and power dynamics intertwine.
