Let´s Pretend
Christel Alsos Lyrics
There’s an ocean between
Waters I dare not swim
The depths cannot save us
From where we begin
Silence from you is unusual
I’d want you to scream instead
I’m not facing it lay down playing dead
Players go for broke tonight
But leave this game to them
You can’t escape the pain
By pretend, by pretending it’s not love
You saw well the stakes were high
Knew well this could end
You can’t escape the pain
By pretend, by pretending it’s not love
Let’s pretend it’s not love let’s pretend
Embrace me with your silence
Your silence is your strength
We played games, you had me guessing
I thought this could go
What lengths I would go to
To keep you, to keep you
To keep you, to keep you
Players go for broke tonight
But leave this game to them
You can’t escape the pain
By pretend, by pretending it’s not love
You saw well the stakes were high
Knew well this could end
You can’t escape the pain
By pretend, by pretending it’s not love
Let’s pretend it’s not love
Let’s pretend it’s not love let’s pretend
