The lyrics of Dantesco's song "Venancio" tell the story of a man named Venancio, a fisherman who lived during a time of hunger and desperation. Venancio became the provider for his family by catching fish in the river that flows through the land of terror. Throughout his life, he was surrounded by darkness, which was the constant companion of his reality. Despite this, Venancio was always faithful to the river's waters. However, on a cold and rainy night, Venancio became seriously ill, and the cold eventually took his life. Before he passed away, he cursed his eternity, and his soul failed to find salvation. Now, he roams the hills, and the ashes of his cross are the only way to appease his anger and sadness.
The song's lyrics are quite somber, with a strong emphasis on the supernatural and the occult. Venancio is portrayed as a man of faith, but his ultimate fate is tragic. The lyrics are suggestive of a cautionary tale, warning against the consequences of anger and cursing one's destiny.
