I love that David is the guy who can perfectly articulate what I've already been intuiting for years but never really felt comfortable owning up to

28:11 David found out a natural process here that leads eventually to loss of attraction from the female. She escalates her tests (as David describes) to the point when she finds some weakness in a man. Since no man is perfect, she will find something. The moment she recognizes that weekness she loses attraction and is ready to move on to test the next guy (and have his kids). This is an evolutionary process that fosters more children from different partners.

@Rūta Kubeldzytė You see, "she wants love" and "he wants freedom" are just code words or abstractions for evolutionary strategies that males and females have. "She wants love" basically means that the female needs to evokes an emotion in a strong competitive male that would make him stick around and provide resources during pregnancy and child infancy. Love is a way to bind his mind to herself. And even after she chose him, she always keeps testing, if he is still the "strong" one. If he is not, she loses attraction for him. Most men become very domestic in the course of a relationship and women naturally lose attraction. "He wants freedom" means that the guy wants to have the freedom to have children with as many women as possible. David just uses less academic words here.

Oh wow, so is that means perpetual dissatisfaction for a woman?
