The band released a debut self-titled album in March 1995, with vocals done by both Protector and Silenius, as well as with the voice of Julia Lederer (Protector's sister) and Nora El Shamah. Die verbannten Kinder Evas returned after a two-year break with "Come Heavy Sleep", musically speaking, the recording remained true to their original sound, perhaps becoming more complex and more classical in style. The vocals are done by Julia and Richard Lederer, as Nora left the band due to lack of interest and Silenius focused more on Summoning.
Die verbannten Kinder Evas signed to Napalm Records in 1999 and released a third album, "In Darkness Let Me Dwell". With this release Die Verbannten Kinder Evas continue to make considerable use of their now trademark classical sound. Furthermore, the addition of Tania Borsky's singing talent to Richard Lederer's diverse vocal styles add colour and contrast to the dark tracks typical of the band.
The Die verbannten Kinder Evas' last album, titled "Dusk and Void Became Alive" was released in November 2006, which features a new female singer named Christina Kroustali.

Praise Blindness Eyes
Die Verbannten Kinder Evas Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Be dumb vain tongue, words are but flattering winds.
Break heart and bleed for there is no receipt
To purge inconstancy from most men's minds.
And if thine ears false heralds to thy heart.
Convey into thy head hopes to obtain.
Then tell thy hear ring though art deaf by art,
Now none is bold except they see his brains
Affection is not known until one be dead
Rewards for love are labours for his pains.
Love's quiver made of gold his shafts of lead.
The lyrics to Praise Blindness Eyes by Die Verbannten Kinder Evas speak about the deceitful nature of human life and love. The opening line urges one to praise blindness for seeing is nothing but deceit. This suggests that the reality one sees is incomplete and not always true. It may be a reflection of one's own perceptions or prejudiced view of the world. This is further reinforced by the line 'Be dumb vain tongue, words are but flattering winds'. Here, the lyrics are referring to how language can be used for manipulation and how people use flowery words to deceive others. The next line 'Break heart and bleed for there is no receipt' speaks about the pain that comes with love and how there is no guarantee of a reward or even reciprocation of love.
The second stanza of the lyrics speaks about how love is often misunderstood and how the heart can be tricked by the ears. It means that one should not let false hopes enter their mind, for it can lead to disappointment. Even if the ears hear something to the contrary, the heart should listen to love that remains. The lyrics show that love is an art, something that is not easy to attain. It requires courage, strength, and determination. The final lines of the song speak about how love can be a double-edged sword. The rewards of love are laborious but often lead to pain. Love has the power to hurt as much as it can bring joy.
