An 8-piece Czech band from Úvaly near Prague, formed in 1996. DB is both hated and loved by many because of its simple but sometimes quite catchy lyrics and music where we can hear many instruments, but is not too complex in the first place.
It is hard to define what genre Divokej Bill is. Sometimes its music is defined as folk rock, celtic rock, country and so on; members think it might be "redneck rock" as they are from a small town and are influenced by it.
DB has attended a lot of festivals in last few years like its home Ouvalskej bigbít, Rock for People or Masters of Rock. DB also does a lot of its own gigs nationwide.
Divokej Bill is closely related to Medvěd 009 because they are both from Úvaly, and Vašek Bláha is a singer and guitarist in both bands.

Že se zdá že mohl bys bejt dál
Modrý oči svý krvavý máš
To znáš když něco si dáš
Díra tam co byla víra
To nech bejt
Kolmo do kraje
Kolmo do kraje
Kolmo do kraje
Kolmo do kraje
Kolmo do kraje
Kolmo do kraje
Kolmo do kraje
Kolmo do kraje
Že by přistál
Že by přistál do kraje
The lyrics of "Brouk" by Divokej Bill talks about the struggles of life and how one can get back up from it. It begins by saying "Bída co ji radost střídá" which means "Poverty that is followed by happiness." This line signifies the ups and downs of life- one moment you are happy and the next, sad. The next line, "Že se zdá že mohl bys bejt dál" meaning "That seems like you could have gone further" talks about hope, and how despite struggles, one can still move forward.
The following lines, "Modrý oči svý krvavý máš, to znáš, když něco si dáš" which translates to "You have blue eyes with blood in them, you know that when you do something" could be interpreted in two ways; one, it could mean that the person has suffered through many hardships, hence, the blood in their eyes, but they still continue to persevere. Two, it could mean that the person has a determined look in their eyes when they want to achieve something. The lyrics further discuss how circumstances have changed to the point where there is a void where faith once was. But the song reminds the listener that, one can still make their way back up because "Křídla zas ti někdo stříhá, ale kdo věří svoje peří zas si narůst dá" says "Someone is cutting your wings again, but whoever believes in their feathers will grow them back again."
The Czech phrase "Připomínáš brouka, co z nebe se kouká" which is repeated throughout the song means "You remind me of a bug that looks down from the sky." This metaphor can imply that the person in the song has a new perspective on life or that they are humble and grounded despite having succeeded to a great extent.
