¡EPIC MUSIC!

Overall Meaning

The "Pompeii" by E.S. Posthumus is an instrumental track that depicts the ancient Roman city of Pompeii that was buried and preserved in ash due to a volcanic eruption. The music begins with an ominous tone, resembling the unrest and uncertainty that preceded the actual eruption. The music slowly builds up, mimicking the growing unease and fear in the city. Then suddenly, the music erupts into a full orchestra, conveying the intensity of the eruption, its destructive power, and the tragic loss of life that followed. The music continues with a melancholic and mournful melody, portraying the aftermath of the disaster, the loss and sorrow of the survivors, and the haunting memories of the past that linger on.

Overall, "Pompeii" is a powerful piece that evokes strong emotions and vivid images of an ancient civilization that was forever lost in time. With its blend of orchestral and electronic elements, the track captures the grandeur of Pompeii's past glory, the terror of its final moments, and the sadness of its tragic fate.

"He just landed by falling from the roof in the middle of the cathedral.
He sensed danger. He felt that something was wrong. He was supposed to protect that place. That was his job, because he was a Gargoyle. He took his human form with wings whenever he felt that the enemy was approaching.
He drew his swords swiftly and started walking down the corridor.
Shadows were approaching from behind, still hiding but floating carefully, waiting for the right moment to attack.
He felt the cold air surrounding him. That was when he knew he found them!
The last moment, he turned quickly and sliced the demon that took form and was about to attack him. But the demon was too slow or the Gargoyle was too quick for him.
At the same moment, he was encircled by demons who were ready to attack.
He was a deathly opponent. His sharp moves gave them no oppenings. He was too quick and too strong for their level.
Spinning around, flying with his wings and slicing through their bodies, he exorcised them for good with his holly blades shining with pure heavenly light, leaving nothing but black dust!
When he finished them off, he flew again to the roof of the Cathedral, satisfied since his duty was well done. He knelt down, taking his original position but this time he had a smirk on his face, while he started turning into stone again before people coming to the church..."

That was what I imagined, listening to that music!😊
