Fe de Carbón
Electrodomésticos Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Desolación en el escenario
Saltando desnuda
La vida está muda
No te deja ver
Te ciega de ver
La mano del rey
Tomando otra vez.
Tu voz se fue en el quinto llanto
Del corazón santo
Que te sufre tanto
No te deja oír
Cansada de oír
La mano del rey
Tomando otra vez.
Saben de modas
Las tiendas de sobras.
No hay caso
No hay plazo
No hay santos
Ni malos
Hay fe de carbón
Hay viento interior.
Tanto pensar
En la huella del mal
En las penas ajenas
Está el dolor
Está tu amor.
Tanto soñar
Con la casa en el mar
En la estrella
Tu estela
Está el dolor
Está tu amor.
Tus breves pasos
Suenas lejanos
Tu voz se fue hace tanto, tanto
Espíritu santo
Que te seca el llanto
No te deja estar
Te ciega de amar
La mano del rey
Tomando otra vez.
Tus piernas tiemblan en el desmayo
Tus ojos lavan el desencanto
Esperando rayos del cielo embriagado
No te deja oír
Cansada de oír
La mano del rey
Tomando otra vez.
Saben de sobras
Las tiendas de moda.
No hay caso
No hay plazo
No hay santos
Ni malos
Hay fe de carbón
Hay viento interior.
Tanto pensar
En la huella del mal
En las penas ajenas
Está el dolor
Está tu amor.
Tanto soñar
Con la casa en el mar
En la estrella
Tu estela
Está el dolor
Está tu amor.
The lyrics of Electrodomésticos's song "Fe de carbón" depict a sense of desolation and despair. The first verse describes how one's hands become a sinful act every day, leading to jumping naked, and life becoming mute. The "hand of the king" takes over again, causing blindness and preventing the singer from seeing the truth. In the second verse, the singer describes someone whose eyes are feverish and voice is gone from crying so much. Their suffering heart holds onto the pain, refusing to let them hear and making them tired of listening to themselves. Again, the "hand of the king" prevails, taking control of the situation.
The chorus talks about how fashion stores know what sells, and there is no hope, no deadlines, and no good or bad people in the situation. But there is coal faith, and inner wind. The following verses talk about how we think and dream about the things that hurt us the most, leading to pain and love being so closely related, and how we feel so distant that our voice seems to leave us. The spirit tangles tears in the throat, takes away the ability to stay or to love, and makes the "hand of the king" prevail again, taking control of the situation.
