You've Lost That Loving Feeling
Elvis Presley Lyrics

You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss you're lips
And there's no tenderness like before in your finger tips
You've trying hard not to show it
Baby, baby I know it

You've lost that loving feeling
Woohoo that loving feeling
You've lost that loving feeling
Now it's gone, gone, gone woohoo
Yeah

Now there's no welcome look in your eyes when I reach for you
And you're starting to criticize little things I do
It makes just feel like crying
Baby 'cause baby something beautiful is dying

You've lost that loving feeling
Woohoo that loving feeling
You've lost that loving feeling
Now it's gone, gone, gone wohohohoho

Baby, baby, I get down on my knees for you
This suit wasn't too tight
If you would only would love me like you used to do
Yeah
We had a love, a love, a love you don't find everyday
So don't, don't, don't let it slip away
Listen to me, talking to me

Bring back that loving feeling
Woho That loving feeling
Bring back that loving feeling
'Cause it's gone, gone, gone
And I can't go one wohohohoho
Wohohohohoho wohohohoho

You never close your eyes
Anymore when I kiss your lips
There's no tenderness
Like before in you fingertips
You're trying hard not to show it,
But baby, baby I know it

You've lost that lovin' feelin', oh that lovin' feelin'
You've lost that lovin' feelin', now it's gone, gone, gone

There's no tenderness in your eyes
When I reach out for you
Girl, you're starting to criticize
Every little thing I do
It makes me just feel like crying
'Cause baby, something beautiful's dying

You've lost that lovin' feelin', oh that lovin' feelin'
You've lost that lovin' feelin', now it's gone, gone, gone

Baby, baby, I get down on my knees for you
If you would only love me like you used to do
We had a love, love, love, love affair every day
Oh don't, don't, don't, don't take it away
Listen to me, talkin' to you

Bring back that lovin' feelin, oh, that lovin' feelin'
Bring back that lovin' feelin, now it's gone, gone, gone
And I can't go on

When Elvis covered a song it instantly became an Elvis Presley song. Nobody could do it like the King!

I love the feeling

Regardless of what anyone says, Elvis is the man when it comes to singing and performing.

@Turky Interista there is just not many that can just sit down and sing a song like that raw and unedited. It’s magic.

Turky Interista

Especially this song and unchained melody only proved that he is the perfect singer

Elvis wasn't a writer but was creative genius. like Sinatra he had that very rare gift to listen to the same song as your average person and completely arrange it as it should sound and make it his own. to anyone who ever said Elvis stole his music or style, do some research, because once you've heard Elvis sing a song you will forget anyone else ever sang it.

@Chris P And P Spector?

That's so true

Todd Tr, another artist who wrote music, and also interpreted other artist’s songs brilliantly (sometimes by totally rearranging a song to make it his own), was Bobby Darin.

Whoever likes to accuse Elvis of stealing music has absolutely no idea what they’re blabbing about. As Ella Fitzgerald said, artists are all inspired by other artists and they borrow from the ones who went before. Elvis has always given credit to black musicians who came before him. Elvis roots are in gospel and blues.
