The use of both eastern and western vocals, tribal sounding instruments, as well as an array of synthesizers built the foundation of the Entheogenic sound. Their epic soundscapes manipulated through sound effects and catalystic sonic experimentations have a semi-classical feel to them. Entheogenic also records and uses a large amount of "natural samples" - water, human voices, animals, etc.
Entheogenic was formed in 1999, when Helmut Glavar and Piers Oak-Rhind met while working as VIPs for Emagic and sound technicians in a recording studio in France. Helmut Glavar, born in Austria, has been a musician and songwriter since the early 1980s and founded a variety of bands, ranging from punk and funk to new wave, and drums n bass. Piers Oak-Rhind, born in England, has been a sound designer, programmer and musician since the early 1990s, when he studied guitar at the London School of Guitar.

Eeey maya aoooh,
Eeey mayaaayo,
Eeey maya aooosh.
Eeeyaaooh,
Eeey myaaoosh,
Eeey maaaayo,
Eeey maaaayo,
Eeey maya aoooh,
Eeey mayaaayo,
Eeey maya aooosh.
Eeeyaaooh,
Eeey myaaoosh,
Eeey maaaayo,
Eeey myaaya aooosh.
Interpreting these lyrics is a complex task as they are mostly composed of rhythmic syllables and repetitive sounds. However, the essence of this song lies in its ability to transport the listener to a state of trance, deep connection with nature, and a sense of mystery. Entheogenic, the band that composed this song, is known for creating music that invokes spiritual experiences, and Aranyanyara is not an exception.
The first verse, composed of “Eeey maaaayo,” “Eeey maya aoooh,” invites the listener to join a mystical journey, with the use of sounds that relate to drums and nature. The repetition of “Eeey maya” creates a hypnotic and tribal effect, leading to a meditative state. The second verse, “Eeeyaaooh, Eeey myaaoosh” repeats the same pattern of sounds, enhancing the mood of the listener, leading to further immersion in the hypnotic experience.
The song is contemplative and encourages the listener to let go and immerse themselves in the moment. Perhaps, the lack of lyrics provides an opportunity for the listener to create their meaning behind the sounds. In conclusion, Entheogenic's "Aranyanyara" creates an otherworldly experience that invites the listener to embark on a spiritual journey that connects them with nature, adventure and leave their thoughts behind.
